Another great stay at Barleywoods. Weather has been lovely.
Great walks on the lovely beaches and some good meals in pubs in the surrounding area.
The site was perfect as usual. Love the eggs and oh of course the chocolate🤗🤗.
Look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful campsite. Lovely flat and good drainage. Trees flowers and resident mistlethroughsh.
Did not meet Lorna but found her mum and Dave so pleasant and helpful. Love the little chickens and Daisy the Shetland.
Showers and toilet to die for. Lovely and clean. Toilet paper hand wash towel and even hand cream. Lovely and warm on a cool day.
Good grub in the freezer with honesty box. Also honesty box in shower. Booked for next year.
Best campsite we have been on.

Our 1st visit to Barleyfield and it won't be our last. It is a beautiful site Dave and Lorna work really hard to ensure the site is top notch, friendly and really helpful. It is such a restful site, really recharged our batteries.
There are shower facilities, washing machine, tumble dryer and freezers with meals, cakes and bread. They even have facilities to look after your dog if you want to go out for the day.
It is ideal for visiting Wells next the Sea, Holkem, Brancaster and further afield eg Norwich, kings Lynn etc.
No wonder they are always fully booked.

What a lovely site its very flat with beautiful views out over the fields and very quite we even had a owl sitting on the fence.
We took our two dogs you can walk them up the lane, we also took them to Wells Next to the Sea what a fantastic beach and pine forest well worth a visit,
The owners were so helpful and very kind there is the summer house with washing machine and dryer and the fridge with lots of food that you can buy.
Also must mention the dog kennel if you need to go out for the day,
We will most definitely visit again.

Stayed here for a week in November 2015 and can honestly say it's the best CL that we have ever stayed on, no wonder they are booked so far in advance!
Large field with closely cut grass, plenty of taps and electric hook ups. We were able to have all services connected.
There is a summer house on site with freezers stocked with basics also chocolate and home made cake. There is also a microwave and dishwashing facilities, ideal for the small motorhome. Also there are two heated washrooms with Toilet shower and wash basin in each.
Plenty of chickens around as well as the resident Shetland, Daisy.
A lovely welcome from David and Lorna, the owners, who are both very friendly and helpful.
All in all, just a great place to stay, my only complaint is that it's nearly 250 miles away from Home!

Super CL site.
Owner really helpful and gave us phone number when we had to be towed there so we could get it fixed on the site.
All facility's super clean showers 10p a minute with an honesty box.
Roomy pitches tv reception was a bit hit and miss but free wi fi was a great bonus.
Can highly recommend a visit to Wells next the Sea super village and very dog friendly if you have one.
Poppy Line Steam train was very enjoyable too.
Book early as this site gets booked up really quickly we can't get in again this year.

Lovely CL. Access is good. Pitches are allocated on your arrival, nice and spacious. Picnic benches are provided too. Good Wi-Fi connection.
Facilities are immaculate - best ones ever on a CL site. Attention to details is great.
Washing machine (£2) and tumble drier/or washing line for you to use. Excellent facilities.
Homemade meals, bread and milk etc supplied in information shed, with honesty box.
DVD's, books and jigsaws also provided.
Chickens on site and 2 adorable ponies.
Thought we would hear noise from the road but we didn't at all.
Morrisons and Tesco at Fakenham close by.
Fakenham Garden Centre was a good visit on a rainy day.
Good location for North Norfolk coast.
Would also recommend Beans Boat Trips from Morston to go seal watching - excellent.
Owners are very friendly and helpful. This CL is a credit to them.

This must be one of the best CLs we have been on, shower and toilet very clean. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer to use at the cost of £2 per load there is a washing line if you do not want to use the dryer.
In the information hut you will find a fridge and freezer with home made pies and cakes for you to purchase if you run short also milk and eggs.
There is also free wi fi. The site is not far from fakenham and it does not take long to get to the coast.
The site has two ponies and loads of chickens. The owners are very helpful.

It is impossible to imagine how, short of being in a field or wooded setting miles from habitation, it would be possible to improve on this site.
Faultless & spotless shower/toilet/laundry facilities plus the famous hut with all manner of local information and largely home made frozen food for sale - there's even ice for your G&T!
EHU is 16amp and Wi-Fi is excellent.
Some good pubs not too far away including what must be one of the top pub/restaurant complexes in the UK - The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market.
North Norfolk coast is a short drive where walks abound as does fresh sea food.
Morrisons in Fakenham is a 5 minute drive and a little further away Waitrose are now in Swaffham.
If there's a downside it's that this site is such high quality that it spoils you for anywhere else (and of course all the good reviews make it too popular!).
(Typed in the van during our third stay this year. )

Lovely quiet little site in an ideal location for exploring the north Norfolk coast.
There is a hut on site with lots of local information about shops, pubs, walks etc. It also has a fridge freezer with milk, ice creams, chocolate, barbeque packs etc available to purchase, which is very handy if you've forgotten anything.
There is one shower with a toilet plus another separate toilet, both of which were kept spotlessly clean. They have heaters in them too. The separate toilet also housed a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a washing line for the campers use.
The chemical waste disposal was also very clean.
Also on site are free range chickens, which are fenced off, along with a couple of ponies. There are several bird feeders around attracting goldfinches, greenfinches, blue tits etc. We also saw an oystercatcher visiting daily.
You can walk into South Creake down the lane adjacent to the site, it's only a couple of miles, and we were able to let the dog off lead most of the way. There isn't a shop in the village, but the pub, The Ostrich, was excellent for food and allowed dogs.
I would also recommend The Anchor at Morston. From the outside would be the sort of pub I wouldn't give a second glance, but lovely welcome & superb food. Again dog friendly.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't at its best, had to put the awning up in a gale, thank god the owner Lorna came to help, how many campsites would you get that on? Both her and David were very friendly, and made a point of coming to check that all was ok after a very windy, wet night!
Will definitely visit this site again, if we can get booked in!
