A fantastic site which is as peaceful as you could want.
The owls during the night do contradict this but there is everything here that you could ever want.

This CL is definitely 5 star in every way as others have said. We tried for two years to "get in and were not disappointed when we made it. I won't mention all the facilities as these have been stated before.
Just to say, the site lacks nothing and is the result of the hard work and care of Lorna and David. They are wonderful unobtrusive hosts who have got it right.
The excellent showers and toilets were always pristine too.
We had heavy rain for some days during our visit and the site drained well due to the underlying ground.
We will certainly return if we can get in but may have to rely on cancellations! As a bonus it is also top value.
I can certainly recommend Barleywood CL 100%.

This is our favourite Caravan site, David and Lorna are very friendly and are always there if you need anything and they always make time for a chat.
The CL Site is kept beautifully and so are all of the fantastic facilities they have.
The Toilets and Showers are spotless, in the Hut there is a Washing Machine, large Fridge Freezer where you can purchase Milk, Cake, Chocolates, Bread, Ready cooked Meals, Ice Cubes, Eggs laid by their own Chickens and much more all at very reasonable prices. Also in the Hut is a Sink, microwave and a Sofa where you can relax and read a book or look through all the tourist destinations around the area.
The pitches depending on how you set up your Caravan or Motorhome might need a small adjustment to level up. Each Pitch has EHU, Water Point and you can run your grey water into the hedge.
There is a Chemical Waste Point that is easily accessible and kept very clean.
Access to the site is very easy from the road, just take it nice and slow as it is a Dog Friendly Site.
Fakenham is a 5 minute drive where there are many Supermarkets and Takeaways, we go to The Crown on a Sunday as it is Dog Friendly and they do a Carvery which is very nice and they also offer a Carvery for you Dog.
Barleywood also have a Shepherd's Hut, Pod and a Cottage available for Holiday Lets that are also very popular.
The CL Site is very popular and gets booked up quite quickly as they have a lot of return customers.

What a fabulous CL. The facilities and everything about the site is of a very high standard being extremely well kept and spotlessly clean and excellent value for money.
The outlook is lovely and very peaceful with lots of birds and wildlife around.
Lorna and David are the perfect hosts and very helpful and sociable.
The lane outside the site is very quiet and perfect for walking the dogs.
We would definitely give the site 10 out of 10 and we will definitely return if we can get in.

Lovely peaceful site, spacious pitches and fully serviced as the grey waste just goes onto the hedge.
Two very clean full bathrooms and an information room with home made goods, rhubarb crumble was yummy!
Nothing to dislike about this site, look forward to returning.

This was our third stay here at this wonderful CL, the entrance to the site is very easy to navigate plenty of room either side of our van.
This is a grass pitch site, and to say how much use the site has had this year the grass was in really good condition.
All the pitches are mainly level with a small amount of adjustment needed to get the Caravan level. On each pitch is Electric Hook Up, Fresh water Connection and you can run your Grey Waste Water in to the hedge bottoms if you have waste pipe long enough.
The Elsan point is very convenient and is located within easy reach of the pitches.
There is a Toilet and Shower Block consisting of 2 Toilets and 2 Showers which are kept immaculately clean, Showers are 20p per minute. We did not use the Shower facilities as we use our Caravan Shower.
There is an Information Room, which has all the usual leaflets of what is in and around the area. There is also a large fridge and a large Freezer from these you can purchase Home Made Victoria Sponge Cakes, Milk, all sorts of Chocolates, Fresh Eggs laid by the owners Hens, as well as other goodies.
There is also a Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer that can be used by Campers staying on the site £2 each. There is also a comfy settee and TV that is free to watch as well as books etc.
There is WiFi on the site if needed, the TV signal isn't great but we took our Fire Stick and got a very good signal so was able to watch Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc with no issues or freezing.
The owners David and Lorna are just genuinely friendly and always make time out of their busy schedule to have a chat and make sure all is ok.
We have booked for next year as this site gets booked up pretty early and most are repeat customers and you can see why.
