Had a fantastic time. The site is well situated for easy access to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington. We went sea fishing in Brid and Coasteering with the surf school at Cayton bay.
Rebecca was amazing, after a long drive we didn't fancy cooking so she prepared us dinner and a nice bacon and egg roll for breakfast.
The site is basic as described but had all of the facilities you need. Hot water was plentiful for showers and washing, and toilets were clean.
We loved it here and would recommend the site for future visits with friends and family.

This is a very basic campsite with low standard facilities. The owner is extremely friendly, however in my opinion it was very over priced at £22 per night. The shower/toilet block is one of the most basic we have ever encountered. In effect it is a large chipboard shed which has 3 shower cubicles, 3 toilet cubicles and 3 tiny sinks side by side. There are no windows in the shed so it is very gloomy unless the light is switched on and then you can see the spiders, which for me was a nightmare. We stayed over a bank holiday weekend and they managed to squeeze about 22 units on the site. There was no space to park our car so we all had to park on the country road outside. As there were lots of families here there were lots of children running around the caravans and playing football in the centre of the site. The dishwashing area was literally just a sink - there was no draining area. We won't be back to this site as the club sites in Scarborough are around the same price but have far superior facilities.

Just had a few days at The Paddock Campsite with my grandchildren also went last year for a few days wish I could have stayed longer but the grandchildren have to be home, so roll on next year so we can go back again. We love staying there it is so friendly, ideal for everything you want to do. The toilet block is perfect for all your needs there is constant hot water so you can shower anytime day or night and all the facilities you need to keep you fresh and clean. We took advantage of the swimming pool that you can use just down the road and also the shop for fresh milk on a morning for breakfast and also the pub down the road for our tea everything you need for your holidays superb!

I had a great weekend at The Paddock with my two nieces and two daughters. The site is quite and well kept. The shower and toilet block is basic, but very functional. There's a farm shop right next door. Within easy walking distance there's a well stocked Spar/petrol station, a pub with great food and a fantastic children's play area. The beach is within walking distance too. The site owner, Rebecca, was very helpful and even made me a very welcome coffee on arrival. I definitely recommend this site, and can't wait to stay there again in the future. Big thumbs up from us. :-)

My elderly parents, husband and my self have just returned from this site. It is set in beautiful countryside and just a twenty minute walk from Cayton bay near Scarborough and Filey. Rebecca the owner is lovely and will do her best to sort anything out for you, we had a problem with our electric and within minutes it was put right. There are lovely walks which are quite safe away from the road, a café/farm shop is next door, we bought some lovely stuff. Shower and toilet block, 3 of each are not to the Hilton standards but are quite sufficient, and do the job they are designed for. On the whole we had a brilliant and relaxing 9 days there and will definitely return. Thank you Rebecca.

This is a very basic campsite - a gently sloping open field with limited facilities. The wash area is a no frills affair made of wood chip panels. There are 3 narrow toilets (with loo roll), 3 showers (clean with hot water), and 3 small hand basins. There is no soap or hand driers and no mirros or laundry facilities. The pot wash is a Belfast sink outside the wash area and has no draining area so 2 bowls come in handy. Beware - the hot water comes out of the cold tap and vice versa. We had a warm weekend stay so having a shower and washing up etc wasn't unpleasant but I would imagine in wet/windy conditions it may well be a different story especially with the pot wash area having no cover. As I said the field is open and quite exposed so lots of sunshine throughout the day but I imagine could be very windy on wilder days.
It is a sloping field - some areas more steep than others but not many unaffected by the slope. The site is located near a busy road and road noise could be heard throughout the day and night which did spoil what could have been a really tranquil site. It is a short drive into Filey or slightly longer to Scarborough especially with holiday traffic. We cycled to Cayton Bay along a quiet path and left bikes at the top of the hill to walk down to the sand. Not terribly impressed by the beach. We also tried to bike into Filey but with 2 young children this was worrying as the roads are fast so we turned around and drove instead.
There is a pub a very short walk away but we didn't try it out so can't comment other than it didn't look like a nice cosy place to have a meal. More the sort of place you'd go to for the children to burn up some energy in the play area while the parents watched some telly.
The site owner was really lovely and happy to help out with our questions.
All in all I would say it is an OK site but wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it or visit again due to its location and having to get in the car to see or do anything other than Cayton Bay.

We had a delightful 2 night stay here arriving on New Years Day. It is a basic campsite, which is our preference anyway - and Rebecca, the owner, gave us a warm friendly welcome who did everything she could for us to make the best of our visit. It is only a 15 minute walk on a cycle/walk path to a wonderful unspoilt beach - Cayton Bay - looks great for surfers too, but we had a great time walking the dog on it. Also enjoyed about a 4 mile walk along 'The Cleveland Way' to Scarborough - the coastal path. We decided to get a taxi back due to running out of daylight - £10. The site is by a lovely farmshop/cafe and there is a Spar/Garage and couple of pubs close by. We went in very wet conditions and our van did get stuck but Rebecca soon arranged a tractor to get us on our way again. Filey - couple of miles south, is another example of an unspoilt traditional coastal town. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Lovely little site run by a very nice woman called Rebecca who offered to make us a brew on our arrival, she was friendly and chatted when ever she was around. In a good spot for Cayton Bay, Scarborough and Filey. Toilets and showers a bit primitive but all were in working order, definitely returning next year.

I went to the Paddock camp site with my three grandchildren over the August bank holiday Weekend I phoned the campsite to find a few things out I spoke to the owner Rebbecca she was lovely very pleasant and helpful. When we arrived she introduced herself and couldn't do enough for us she made us so welcome The toilet block and showers are still to be finished but we where still able to use them. Next door to the campsite was a shop that sold most things also a cafe and a gift shop. On the Sunday we where there they had a children's fete with bouncy castle, face painting, also food and drinks and also punch and Judy show and magician and owls that you could hold and take photos. Just down the road was a Pub the food was really good, a children's soft play area and a play area outside which the children loved over the road from the pub was a 24 hour store with a cash point and petrol and anything else you might need. And just down the road from that was a swimming complex, so all in all we had a great time.

Just had a really nice very quiet and relaxing few nights stay at this campsite. I took my two teenage kids who sulked as soon as we arrived as I had forgotten to mention we where going to stay somewhere without wifi (uupps)
But after setting up the tent and being welcomed by Rebecca who was also very nice, we settled in to a few days of walking on the beach watching the surfers and visiting the coastal towns of scarbourgh and filey. Coming back to the camp site early evening there are not to many pitches which was fine by us so the place was just what I wanted an needed to switch off from online and relax. The amenities where basic but clean. I will be going back again and hope for some clear skies as it would be a great place to star watch with not much light pollution at all.
