A lovely oasis of a site with level pitches and well screened from the adjoining road which was busy and from which some noise was to be expected. The famous Latham's store is only 10 mins walk away and which has something for everyone.
Bron was a delight in welcoming us and settling us in. Jim was also very obliging and unhesitatingly gave us a replacement fuse which had blown on our tv circuit.
We thought that £16 was expensive for one night particularly given the washing and shower facilities - which although clean - were rather basic and dated. There was no washing up facility either.
However, this was a nice friendly and well kept site which we would visit again.

A bit of traffic noise but its only a five minute walk from potter heigham. The owners jim & bron are great, made us feel at home, always wanting to help, & made time to chat even dug up plants for me after our visit to local garden centre,
would not hesitate to stay here again, next time we visit norfolk.

We have again recently retuned from what must be norfolks best kept secret. Whitehouse Campsite if you are looking for a quiet friendly camp with spotless loo's & showers. Within a five minute walk to Potter heigham, one of the nicest places on the broads then this must be it. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Jim & Bron who are always about to help and advise to make your holiday perfect. This is not a large busy commercial site with shops and bars but all you need is only minutes away and it is very central to explore the broads and lovely coastline with its quiet beaches. If you need the razzle dazzle and bright lights and lots to do for the kids Gt Yarmouth is not far away. Dogs are welcome and some beautiful riverside walks are just five minutes away. Potter Heigham is also famous for having Lathams store where you can get almost anything including food & drink and a nice cafe. We can't wait for next season to come around & to return again. Having tried some other camps in our view this one is the best. Karen&Graham Somerset

Originally planned to camp here based on reviews gathered from this forum. On booking Jim offered me the use of a touring caravan (with owners permission) as he didn't have an electric pitch available.
My wife and I were delighted with the service provided by the friendly owners Jim amd Bronia who daily made sure everyone was happy. Yes the busy road could disappoint some people but it was minimised being in a caravan and if in a tent you would want to be on the side opposite to the road. With the shops of Potter Heigham village and the boating facilities of the Broads a walk away I can happily give it a maximum rating. We will be back I'm sure!

If you want a small friendly site in the middle of broadland - look no further. We arrived for a week and, as promised, our site was labelled, but a lovely smiling lady met us anyway. She helped us position our tourer and got us connected to a very adequate electrical supply. The lady's name was Bronia and with her husband Jim, they run a very efficient ship and the personal attention they give is outstanding.
All the facilities are in good order, as mentioned in all the other reviews, and I know Bronia takes a pride in them.
I'm not quite sure what Jim brings to the party, but he helped me drink tea, ate my wife's birthday cake, and pontificated on any subject that arose. However on the practical side he is mustard, and he has a mate who is a time served caravan specialist who sure impressed me as I watched him service a van. Jim would introduce you, if you wanted a reasonable priced service on site.
We are a retired couple and enjoyed the children on site. Of course they were supervised by their parents, but B & J kept an eye and made sure games didn't get out of hand. The site is enclosed and was very safe for play.
Hope to go back soon - definitely a chill out site

Just returned after a short break from korna cottage campsite and all we can say is that we can't wait to return! Thanks to the owners Bronia & Jim who helped make our stay even more memorable lovely family run site. And after one visit have made us feel like friends. They have recently added camping pods one of which my daughter and son-in-law hired and they were very impressed too. Very reasonable rates! ☺

This is an excellent campsite just a short walk from Potter Heigham's amenities where you can hire boats for the Broads and get groceries/hot food. Jim and Bronia are extremely welcoming and helpful. The pitches are a very good size and the toilets are immaculate!
Amazing value! We will definitely be back next year and can't wait!

I have a very large tent and Bronia and Jim are more then happy for me to stay. The price is amazing for a single mum with kids and dogs as well I can take my kids away each year on this campsite.
When I have had problems with my tent Jim has offered me help. I can not say enough about this campsite best Family campsite I know.
I go back year after year well done on all the changes you have done over the past few years great place to stay and relax thanks. X

We've enjoyed another beautiful and relaxing holiday at this lovely caravan park!
The owners Jim and Bronia are such lovely hardworking and pleasant people!
The cleanliness of the Toilet and Shower block are spotless and cleaned morning and evening.
Jim has erected a small bbq hobbit-like hut plus 2 new Pods for people to rent and they are really lovely!
Can't wait to go there again!
Thank you Jim and Bronia xxx 💖

What a gem of a site. Clean and well maintained. Level pitches and plenty of space to call your own. The owners are to be commended for their personal touch which was much appreciated. Nothing is to much trouble for them. Dogs are allowed on leads and there are some good walks to be had for exercise. A short walk takes you to Potter Higham and the Broads. There are banks and supermarkets, takaway's and shops in Stalham about four miles away. The site is on a main road so there is some noise from traffic which we soon became used to but if your looking for country quiet it may not be what you are looking for. How ever for us the location was just what we wanted as its on main route for the whole of the east coast resorts and towns. We will be booking again for next year. £16 a night BARGAIN.
