The site was lovely. Very peaceful with great walks nearby. The facilities were very clean and well looked after. There was lots of space for the children to play and the pitch's were roomy.
We will definatly be visiting again. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Spent a wet and windy weekend at Holt Farm, however despite the inclement weather the welcome was very warm, the facilities was spotless. The children enjoyed being up close to the animals. My husband and I just enjoyed the relaxing and peaceful countryside. Fishing lake great for the kids - can't fail to catch something. Will be booking again soon for the summer.

We stayed on this site for the August bank Holiday, and it was perfect!
This site is absolutely perfect for our needs, despite being a Bank Holiday and the sun shinning it was not at all overcrowded, and in-fact we had a huge field almost to ourselves - flat, freshly mowed, no pitch restrictions!
The owner and family are really friendly people who are always at hand to help, and the warden was a really chilled out pleasant chap - walking around with his dog and making sure everyone was OK!
Great pitch prices - 3 nights, two families, (4 adults, 4 kids), 2 tents and a day tent cost us only £72 - and when I paid I had no change on me so the owner said, dont worry, call it £70!
The toilets and showers were clean and tidy at all times, and despite being full on site I never had to queue for a shower - perfect!
A must is the cream teas - superb, and served in the bone china teacup and saucer! Canal Walk is also a must - pub next to canal at Napton very nice, but I wouldn't advise going through too many locks as it gets quite tiring helping out the canal barges (opening locks etc!)
We were really lucky that the weekend we were there the owners put on a BBQ on the Sat. Evening, including some songs from the farmers wife - she'd get through the X-Factor auditions no problem!
Overall - 10 out of 10 from us, we will be back next year and many thanks for making it a great weekend! This is the perfect site if you want to get away from the more commercial sites and get back to basics on the farm (whilst still a bit of luxury with showers and EHU option!)

Just returned from an overnight stay at Holt Farm. We`booked very last minute but the owners were very accommodating and communicated well. We`were given a choice of pitches(with electricity) with adequate space in between each pitch. There's plenty of space in the middle of the field to play a few games-family rounders seemed popular! The toilet block was always clean and a supply of soap dispenser and paper towels readily available. Although there were only two sinks for washing up, this did not prove to be a problem at all. The farmer is very accommodating- we saw him deliver a huge b-b-q on the front of his tractor to a tent! A short walk brings you to the canal where you can watch the barges go through the locks and the owners are always grateful of a helping hand! the walk into Napton is very picturesque along the canal. A short drive to Stratford. Also, the Bridge pub/resteraunt in Napton has delicious meals and views of the canal if you want to indulge. Slightly expensive at £12 a night but a great site-will be returning

Friendly farmer, very relaxing surroundings in rural countryside, lovely fresh air, no traffic nearby. Plenty of space, we could choose where to pitch up. I had no problem with the ladies toilets, although my husband thought the weren't enough loo's in the men's. Clean site, well maintained. Bike hire is available, and free fishing, although the small lake was very busy! Lovely canal walks, the nearest pub is probably about 4 miles away. There is a post office in the vicinity, and a bakers, yum. The nearby village of Priors Hardwick is worth a visit, with its quaint church and award winning pub restaurant. Small cafe style shop selling cream teas, homemade flapjacks, cold drinks etc within the campsite grounds. Very safe area for kids, although a couple of them were a bit annoying at 11.30pm. There is no park etc nearby so if you have young ones, be prepared to bring a football/toys etc. We'll be back!

Just spent 3 nights over the Easter weekend at Holt Farm and had a wonderful time.
The site itself wasn't too hard to find but beware there are more than one farm with Holt as it's name as we found out.
Located in a working sheep farm made it a perfect time to see all the new lambs for Easter.
The campsite itself comprised of two level fields one with hook up and one with out, there is plenty of room for awnings and car.
We did find the toilet block too small for the camp site with only two toilets and shower in both the male and female block and though looked after it did feel scruffy, however being in a caravan we use our own.
As everyone has said the cream teas are a must I haven't had sugar cubes since I was a child and there was plenty of tea, cream and jam to go round.
This site is wonderful for exploring Warwickshire and the Oxford union canal and is perfect for kids.
Will definitely visit again

Lovely site, owners didn't cram us in even on a Bank Holiday Weekend. 25 of us in 10 tents all camped together and given plenty of room. Site was pretty full but toilets and showers (2 showers for men, 2 for women) were never busy and always clean. We had plenty of rain (mainly overnight) yet the field we were on was firm and not boggy at all. The Southam Kitchen (Chinese) even delivered our set meal for 20 adults and the food was good. Best pub in Napton was the Crown, just re-opened under new ownership, landlord very friendly. Great carvery at the Kings Head too, although landlord not so friendly. Nice walk along the canal to Napton, wide towpath and plenty of narrowboats and locks to amuse the children. Would definitely go back to this site really recommended.

Just returned from a fantastic weekend at this site. It was our first camping trip as a family - 2 children (age 8 and 6 yrs) and a lively dog! We found the site easily and the tarriff reasonable(£12 per night for us). The people were very friendly and helpful, the toilets and showers spotlessly clean and the field flat! There seemed to be unlimited hot water and I was very impressed by the fact that no matter what time of day or night you used the facilities they were always clean. We found this a nice quiet site - ideal for the children - and will definitely be returning.
