Stayed at this site over Easter while touring Scotland in a hired Mazda Bongo (SO much fun!).
The site had only just opened for the year, but everything was open on the site, and the owners were very friendly.
The Toilets/Showers/Washing facilities were superb, lots of them & very clean.
It's about 10mins drive from Ben Nevis and has stunning views of the mountain.
Can't speak for the pubs or restaurants in the area as we never used them.
We had planned to stay the next night in Inverness, but returned to this campsite instead it was so good.
The tent area looked flat & had EHU, though obviously we didn't use them.
All in all this was a great site & I'd definitely stay there again.

Visited this site for the first time on holiday weekend. Was pleasantly surprised at how secluded it is, even though Fort William is only 5 minutes away. There are no set pitches in the tourer area and although it was busy there was plenty of room between all vans and tents.
Toilet/shower block was spotless and big enough that there was never a queue.
Shop well stocked with basic essentials.
Prices very good and no noise after 10:30.
I'll be back!

This campsite is set in beautiful surroundings, with Ben Nevis in the background and a river running along the bottom of the site. I Spent a week here with my family in August and we loved it. Our three boys really enjoyed the park and due to the rather wet weather, I made plenty of use of the washers and dryers which were excellent. The toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy and I never had to wait once for a shower. The shop on site was well stocked and the owners and staff all very helpful and friendly. There were plenty of electric hook-ups for tents to use and you could choose your own pitch. Fort William was just a few minutes drive away, and my kids really enjoyed the go -karts just around the corner.

I've stayed here many times over the years and usually use it in preference to the Glen Nevis camp site (I forgot myself this Easter and went back to Glen Nevis and regretted it). This camp site is also much cheaper. I will be using this camp site again in May.
There is a good view of Ben Nevis and the other surrounding hills and mountains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to my friends.
The ablutions are good, there is a well stocked shop on site. It's just outside Fort William, which is a good thing and do I really need to say it's good for Mountaineering, walking & climbing.

At a superb campsite! From the outset from arrival to departure everything was excellent. Owners friendly, pitch level and well drained and although there are no marked-out pitches, the camping area is large enough to accommodate many many tents / caravans with acres of space. The facilities, toilets, showers, shop, reception were immaculate and regularly cleaned. Couldn’t fault it. A magnificant welcome to Scotland. Fort William is a small town but with all facilities one would expect for a tourist town. The literature available for ‘things to do’ and ‘places to visit’ is quite considerable. There is something for everyone. One more thing, the view………………… Ben Nevis looks a picture.

May 2005 The 2nd year running for us at this campsite, clean, spacious and as previous posters have said, fantastic views.
Close to Fort william which is a decent town centre. Handy for Ben Nevis and the gondola ride up Aonach Mor. Close to Banavie station where you can get the train to Mallaig on the line which was used to film the Harry Potter movies. From June you can also travel on the steam train that was used in the films though this is dearer than the normal train.
One we'll return to again and again.
Highly recommended.

July 04 An excellent site, ideal for families with a play area and good facilities. Spotless toilets although a bit outdated. The best bit was definitely the view - it is great to be able to pitch your tent with roolling hills all around and a fantastic view of ben Nevis.

MAY 2003 Excellent campsite facilities, clean, well kept shower and toilet block hairdryers at small chrge, showers free! Laundry room and drying area excellent for families looking for respectable site or people looking to explore. Excllent views of ben nevis! And curfew time of 10.30,not too much noise heard after dark. One small problem only 2 sinks for washing dishes a slight problem if camp site busy so be quick. Only 2 miles to fort william town centre and be prepared town centre a bit expensive. Would go again !!
