Very nice site, very neat and tidy! Owners were very friendly and so were the other campers! Got a bit lost going to Sainsburys but found it in the end! Theres also a Spar down the road but its worth the extra few minutes it takes to get to Sainsburys as its quite expensive in Spar! Other near by attractions include the Beach at Prestatyn and Rhyl which both were only a short drive away. Camping was a good price for the site, £10 per night, showers and toilets were nice, clean and there was lots of hot water! Washing up facilities were good as well. Only one little bad point, had to pay £5 deposit for the key for the toilet/shower block, we weren't told this nor was it in any other reviews, so it could be a new thing I'm not sure, but they didn't mention it on the phone when I enquired! All in all very nice campsite, had a great week, would go again!

Very clean and tidy site helpful and friendly owners , top marks. Had a great and relaxing weekend, highly recommended. Will visit again, the site is not overly keen on teenagers due to lack of appropriate facilities, but welcomes families with young children

Bear in mind we're first time campers as you read this! Just come back from this lovely clean site. Owners lovely, very helpful, great big field for tents, level and tidy. Neat section for tourers. Spotless washrooms and boiling hot showers. Fab dog called Meg! Only downside was the cockerel at the farm over the road - perfect for that early start! Wouldn't hesitate to go again - it's a great base for North Wales. There's a lovely lovely cafe at J31 of the A55 called the Dragon's Rest - a perfect treat for breakfast on the way home.

Excellent site, has hard standing with plumbing for caravans as you enter the site. We were in the large field all had electric hookup. Guy at the site was really friendly and walked you to your pitch. Toilets and showers were excellent always clean and warm. Plenty of free hotwater for the showers, there was also a laundry in the womens toilet block, and two sinks for washing up in between the two blocks and there was a disabled toilet. There is no shop on site but 10mins drive gets you to a spar and 15mins to a sainsburys. They dont seem to like teenagers but younger children are okay. It is ideally situated for days out in north Wales Chester etc. will be going back soon
