Spent a wonderful weekend at this site. Plenty of space between caravans. Cold water taps were situated between the caravans so you didn't have to go far for water.
The owners and staff on the site were really helpful. The pub had entertainment on while we were there and the meals were wonderful.
Toilet & shower block were kept clean and there was plenty of hot water. Amble was 4 miles away and there was a Sunday market on at the harbour.
Will definitely go back to this site soon.

Having just spent a very pleasant one night stop over here we were pleasantly surprised with the facilities.
The site has just been recently opened with 22 pitches there is a small play park next to the beautiful restaurant/bar where I have to say the food was outstanding and the staff extremely helpful
The facilities were basic but very clean, the owners are in the process of updating the facilities in the very near future. The pitches are large and flat, all with electric hook up, the access was wide we had no problem with our twin axle. There are walks to felton and warkworth through the bridle ways.
With amble 5 minutes away by car you can pick up any groceries from there main supermarkets.
We will definitely be going back here the owners are passionate about making the site a success and they deserve for it to be so, the restaurant bar has theme nights every so often and we happened to hit the swing night - absolutely brilliant.

Just spent a lovely weekend at this little gem of a caravan site. Only 20+ miles from Newcastle, and a few miles from lovely beaches and villages this caravan site can take 5 caravans and there's loads of room.
The pitches are on grass with electric and are well spaced out the only down side is that the t/v reception is poor but perhaps during the upgrade to the site a booster system could be installed, perhaps not cheap but a nominal increase in site fees would be justified.
The only thing to be wary of is that the site is just off a busy-ish road so care needs to be taken if you have dogs / kids. Keep them tied up! Will definitely go back.
No toilets/showers as yet but hopefully will be sorted soon. There is access to the pub toilets when it's open. Lovely, friendly couple run the pub and the Sunday dinners are delicious.

Found the site very pleasant as were the owners.
There will be work going on in the near future to better the facilities. At the moment the toilets are in the licensed premises but that was not a problem.
Had a meal in the inn on Friday evening, it was very good both flavour and price.
The couple whom run the site are very nice and nothing appears to be a problem, they deserve to do well.

The site is central for town shopping and beaches
My wife and I will be visiting the site again in the not too distant future.
