This was our first time on the campsite. We spent 4 nights here at Easter 2007. It had been recommended to us by friends who hadn't stayed there but it looked good. We couldn't fault the site. From the minute we arrived, which wasn't until 9pm, nothing was too much trouble for the owners. The campsite is immaculate and well kept with beautiful flowers. The toilets and showers are very clean. There is a dog walking area, which is great, not just a bit of grass, but a whole field! The facilities for kids are brill, lovely park area and indoor play area, our kids never stopped. The beach & Benllech are 5 mins drive from the park with a local Londis & Spar shop, there is no supermarket near by . There is a well stocked shop on site. There are plenty of local pubs near by. The views are breathtaking from the site and we didn't want to come home. We wouldn't hesitate going back and will certainly be booking again for 2008.

We stayed her for two nights during May half term. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Tent pitch was a fantastic size, they did not have any electric free pitches left but were quite happy for us to pitch with an EHU and deduct the charge. Toilets are immaculate with free hot water, dishwasher facilities, laundrette and drinking water on hand. Great location for campsite, the only downside is that although a 5 min drive, there are no restaurant or bar facilities within walking distance. Having said that, shops, bank, take aways, garage and the nearest beach is only a 5 Min drive away. We had a fantastic break, our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed the freedom and space the roam. Great facilities, football pitch, tennis courts and fields. We will hopefully be returning in the Summer.

EXCELLENT! That got your attention didn't it. In all serious though, the site is excellent. Spotlessly clean in all areas from the toilets with piped-in music and extractors, to the indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids. (Our 7 and 9 year old loved it) Set a good distance from the road, the site was lovely and peaceful except for the sound of birds and wildlife (owls at night) which was beautiful. The owners were very friendly and amenable and have a reception area full of local info from where to eat, to where to visit, along with a shop selling essentials. We were camping, and as it was the week before whitsun the camp was reasonably quiet with us being the only ones in a tent although there were a lot of motorhomes and caravans there. We were given the choice of pitch, and chose the largest and flattest one (some pitches are slightly sloped) where we could see the play area, tennis court and football pitch from easily. The hookup we paid for never faltered once during the week either, and we ran the fridge 24 hours a day as well as the kids' DVD player and other stuff. Pitches are a good size, with plenty of space between you and your neighbours too and are spotlessly clean with wooden picnic benches for your use. All in all, Excellent service and facilities. The facts also speak for themselves: They're almost fully booked for the summer season already. Definitely recommend to all.

Welcomed by very friendly staff. Superb site large pitches for all units. Small shop which contained all basic things but open times limited. Daily paper could be ordered at no extra charge which was a nice change. Two toilet blocks one better than the other but both were spotlessly clean with piped music and good extractor fans. One worry was the mop and bucket left inside the blocks for people to wipe the shower out after use. The mop was left inside the bucket which was filled with disinfected water and for multi use. l was very concerned as this surely is a means of spreading bacteria not actually eliminating it. Disinfectant does not actually kill all bacteria. To continue the grounds were very well maintained and even the excellent dog walk was mowed so we didn't get wet from long grass. Overall an excellent site which could be used as a base to visit all the well known seaside resorts or just to relax on site.

What a fabulous site! The pitches are large, some are sloped, but we were lucky and got a flat pitch. We were situated on the run into the entrance. Toilet and shower blocks were great, the top block (not near the shops) was better as the showers were more controllable. The owners were friendly and helpful. An indoor and outdoor play area for children, a huge field to play football on which was always empty when we used it and the beautiful island of Anglesey to explore. What more could anyone ask??

Arrived during the summer heatwave - why can't every day be like this? This site is one of the best we have tried so far. Toilets, shop, play area ( bit small but ok ) all great. We were directed to an over spill area through the top gate. But once we had a walk around the site this was a big plus. The 'normal' pitches were a bit cramped but we had the run of 'our' site. Only down side was that at the top of the hill it does get a bit windy and chilly at night. Also difficult to get awning pegs in more that 4 inches before hitting the rock of the hill. Down the road to Benllech bay and beaches - which are fabulous. Even a local church group organised kids beach club was running, though ours are a bit young to partake, was very popular. Overall 8/10.

I agree with the previous feed back, could not fault the site, one of the best ones we have been to. Large spacious pitches, clean, warm toilets, indoor and outdoor play areas for kids, well stocked shop, friendly shop. Will definitely be back next year.

Stayed for 2 nights at Home Farm at the beginning of the summer hols and found the campsite to be great for families with a lovely play area and really clean, spacious bathrooms. We were in the tenting area nearest the entrance so it was a bit of a trek to the loo, water point and the play area which was a bit of a pain but the shop was well stocked and the owners were very pleasant. We went to nearby Benllech beach which was lovely and we also visited the Almwch Viking Festival which was on over the weekend that we went, and this was great for the kids. I did book in advance so knew the prices but I still have to say that I found the cost of 19 pound for 1 adult and 2 children with no EHU to be a little expensive. We did enjoy ourselves as we also had great weather but hopefully the prices don't go up!

We visited the site midweek at the end of June and it was quiet. We had booked a large tent pitch and what we given was big enough for any tent. R reception was well stocked and the staff very friendly. Communication before our visit had also been very good. The pitch was £14 a night for 2 adults and a child, which is a very good price.
The site seemed to be geared more towards tourers but there were still quite a lot of tent pitches all of which seemed to be flat. The site is well spaced out and all pitches are numbered. The facilities were the best we have used. Fresh flowers, free showers, free hair-drier, enough loos and showers and even piped music! These were in two blocks. There is a play-field, an indoor and outdoor play area and plenty of walking nearby.
Overall this is an excellent park well worthy of the awards it has attained and one which we would return to.
