Wow what a gem of a site, the ground was flat, the grass, the hedges, borders and flowers were immaculate site was stunning, toilet block spotless, big shower rooms with piping hot water.

It is an adult only site which you expect to be quiet but it was more than that it was still so peaceful and tranquil. The owners were extremely polite, couldn’t do enough for you to give the best bitch to suit your needs.

I forgot to mention I am disabled so facilities need to be fairly close and accessible this was not an issue. Where ever you parked on the site the facilities were only a stones throw away.

We came across this park on Ukcampsite by chance booked same the night before arriving and a £13 per night with electric I’ll be back again. Superb

After the initial shock of being close to Llangollen Railway and not the Snowdonia Railway at Llanberis (wot a plum) we had a great 4 nights.

The weather was good to us so was the site. Good toilets showers and an information room with menus from local pub/ restaurants.

I can recommend the White Horse at Overton 2 meals and 2 drinks £30ish. Not safe to walk on country lanes.

Close to Wrexham Chester Shrewsbury and North Wales.

Will be back. Great well kept site and owners who care.

Spent a night at this site recently and was very impressed.

Immaculately clean and the owners took the time to come over to see me and check everything was ok.

Will definitely stay here again. Small and friendly.

Fantastic site very well maintained plenty of walking area for Dogs

Information Room is one of the best I have come across going again in late October plenty of room between pitches. Easy to access the site.

You're ideally placed for exploring with the Vale of Llangollen, the Ellesmere Lakes, Wrexham and Shrewsbury

Lovely site off main roads, toilet block could do with an update but for the price it's amazing, friendly owners and a nice setting. Great pub down the road (The boat)

Kennels can be heard in the distance but not too noisy.

We chose this site because it is in good driving distance for North Wales resorts and Snowdonia National Park without paying the exorbitant fees charged within the National Park.

The site is excellent value for money and spotlessly clean. As quoted by the owners there is a bus service outside, although not very frequent we used it to go to Whitchurch and Wrexham.

If you do venture into Wrexham there is a fantastic bus service every 15 minutes to Chester.

Quite locally (10 minutes driving) is the lovely quaint town of Elsmere (not Port) with an outstanding lake and the Shropshire Union Canal.

If you want to go further there is the opportunity of a good train service to Shrewsbury or Manchester by using the bus service or Whitchurch Station is free to park.

We would definitely go back and the people that own the site are so friendly and accommodating.

Had a one night stopover at this gem of a site. Immaculately kept and superb value at only £13 for the caravan and porch awning, dogs included.

Adult only made this a very peaceful venue, at night you could almost hear a pin drop.

There is two very large dog walking areas which also have the same lush grass as around the site.

The pitches are roomy and flat with grass and gravel area for car/awning.

The facilities are again spotless and has two large shower rooms with toilets in the same room, and a separate toilet room too. Basically everything you could need.

Very friendly, pleasant owners who couldn't do enough to welcome us.

Just to note, they do not take card payment so you will need cash, and hard ground pegs to peg out the awning.

Definitely one to go on the visit again list, but maybe for longer next time.

This site is a little gem. Only 15 pitches on grass plus a few hardstandings but you do not feel claustrophobic. Most of the pitches are flat, with just a little unevenness here and there.

You can park your outfit on the grass area and use the gravelly hardstanding for an awning or just park on the firmer area.

The site is kept immaculate with grass kept very short and picked up and the two shower/toilet rooms are very clean.

There is also another toilet and the dish washing area has plenty of sinks and is indoors. There is a large dog walking area attached to the site in the form of a large field owned by the site.

For the price the owners charge you'd be pressed to find better value elsewhere plus it's open all year. The owners are very friendly.

You will find the site set behind their detached house just outside the small town of Overton and is set virtually on the Welsh / English border. A true little haven.

We'll be back soon.

We have just returned from Rosedale what a lovely quiet site, Paul and Caroline the owners are really friendly.

There only two showers but found them clean and plenty of hot water.

We went into Overton on the Friday evening to The White Horse, it was Steak Night and what a lovely Steak we had, we enjoyed it so much we went back on Sunday for the Carvery.

Rosedale is really well positioned for visiting a number of places.
