Great site for access to Cambrai. Large pitches - with well defined areas.
Toilet facilities - good.
Shower facilities - good but could do with a general clean up.
Great value for money.
Attendant on site not available from 12. 00 - 17. 00 and sign not clear that you can just park up on any pitch and you can go to register at the office at 17. 00 when it re-opens. We didn't realise this so we were just hanging around for 2 hours waiting for the office to re-open.

We often stay here on the way back to UK = it's a good launching site for an afternoon ferry.
Close to the town centre and the canal; beside Aldi and Buffaloe Grill
Cheap with good facilities; showers/WC/ electricity.
Some noise from the by-pass, geese, nightingales.

Second visit to this site near the canal and buffalo grill in downtown Cambrai.
Some road noise.
Tidy and clean, maybe needs more facilities blocks.
E12 per night Inc WiFi and elec.
Handy for Deborah D51 MK4 tank museum and other ww1 relics.

Very long narrow tarmac access road to grass 90 degree pitches only which showed signs of being damp ( tyre skid marks and wet mud).
However, excellent loo/showers and passable English from the patron.
Noisy from road traffic ofmr 0530, but other wise handy for an one night stopover.

Very nice pitches of good size and well maintained.
A pleasant walk over the river approx 20 minute into nice little town which had plenty of bars and restaurants especially around the square
Although on our visit it had been invaded by the Travelling Fair so rides and game stall in all the side streets.
But we will return when its hopefully quieter.
Extremely reasonably priced and an added bonus was the Aldi 400 mtrs from the site to stock up on all your essentials before heading off.

Excellent three day stay at this perfectly formed Camping Municipal. Neat and tidy and modern but small facilities. Most people just stay overnight and lots of these in camoer vans so this is fair enough. Cheap too €14 a night is a bargain. It’s on the outskirts of town and we’ve been staying to see Le Tour De France passing nearby over the famous cobbles. Very helpful monsieur and bread available in the morning, but it is also just around the corner from a Carrefour Market.
We’ve stayed here three times. The first time many of the pitches were long term stays of construction workers. Much better and cleaner now they’ve gone. The Matisse museum at Cambrésis is about 25 mins away and superb €5 for adults with free audio guide. Also good place to stay to visit WW1 sites including Thipeval memorial.
Others may be right that toilet block is small but it is clean and the water is hot. Also table tennis tables available. Worth more than one night. Sure there is a cockerel but this is France. :)

Delightfully neat and trim site on edge of town. Grass pitches only. Friendly warden arrives at 5. 30. Very pretty attractive site. 15 minute walk to town. Buffalo Grill opposite was a very good and convenient place to eat. €12. 50 including electricity. A lovely stay.

Stayed on the Municipal for 2 nights on return journey to Calais. Had emailed to reserve, but not really necessary we found, in May. No one in office but caretaker there in evening, who gave us a Buffalo Grill drinks voucher. 15 min. Walk to town centre (dirty streets in France compared with Italy and Germany). Check directions on a map. Paid when office open in morning. Friendly young man had good English.
Facilities clean, but inadequate for number of pitches and a long way from pitches at end of site. Just two showers and two toilets in each of Male and Female areas. One of each is designated disabled.
No internet found.
Some road noise and, for us, very early rising cockerels nearby. Not a pleasant dawn chorus!
As well as Cambrai, we visited Caudry (Lace Museum); Le Cateau-Cambresis(Matisse Museum) and Ors (Wilfred Owen War Poet memorials)
