Loved this camp site. Great location at the centre of Cannock Chase.
Easy walking distance to the Sherbrook Valley or either of the visitors centres.
Pitches have their own individual taps making them excellent value. Friendly owners who also sell fresh duck and hen's eggs from their small holding.
The site was also visited by deer from Cannock Chase. Peaceful friendly site.

Liked the peace and quiet of the site.
Well looked after and clean.
Although the site is basic with porta loos, it has waste disposal if your unit has it's own facilities.
We enjoyed our stay and if ever back that way, would book again.
Do not follow your satnav, the road is full of potholes. Stafford Brook Road is where you need.

We spent this past weekend at this site with some friends.
There are hard standing pitches and field(s).
We were on hard standing with electric and water. You do need £1 or £2 pound coins for the meter.
It is so quiet here. You can hear the occasional cow(s) munching the grass behind the site. Birdsong galore. You may be lucky enough to catch site of some deer but we weren’t.
Although my friend and I did witness the owner bottle feeding the lambs ❤️ as being a working small holding there are a few animals and you don’t hear them well maybe the ducks 🦆
The site is really well kept 👍 There are portable toilets in the corner of the field but no showers. It is basic but who wants all mod cons in the middle of the countryside?
Our friends described it as a’gem’ and it is in the middle of Cannock Chase.
The road to the campsite is very difficult for 100m or so and when you get to the top, you
Need to phone ahead to get the security gate code to get into the site.

A lovely basic campsite
£20 a night, EHU if needed on a coin-op meter. (You'll need £1 and £2 coins) No CC machine so pay by bank transfer or cash.
Water at each pitch. Toilets but no showers, elsan and grey water disposal.
Dog friendly in the middle of a forest.
1 note, come in from Stafford Brook Road as all other roads to it are very heavily potholed.
Pat the owner is very helpful.

Lovely quiet site. We had three nights with our two kids and then a further, last minute, two nights with just us two adults.
Site is dog friendly (on a lead at all times, it’s a working farm). Right in the middle of the forest for instant access to timeless, beautiful walks.
The owners were super helpful and very accommodating.
The facilities are basic so if you need all the bells and whistles this is not a site for you.
If you like tucked away sites with the basics then this is highly recommended; we will be staying again.
The site is really close to the Cannock Chase Visitor’s Centre and Go Ape. The Chase pub nearby does good food and there is a selection of takeaways and shops about 10-15 minutes away.

A lovely little campsite that really makes you feel as if you’re surrounded by nature.
Standing outside and listening to the owls calling and the fallow deer bucks calling was magical.
Pat was so helpful and accommodating.
Nothing fancy here and you need to have your own onboard shower but that just adds to the feeling of being almost off grid.
Staying there again tonight on our way home.

Perfect site for walking or riding at Cannock Chase, the site is on a bridle path straight into the forest.
Peaceful location and a well kept basic site run by Patricia who is really helpful and friendly.
Will definitely stay again
