Great little campsite, pitches right onto the river, with each pitch having its own platform/balcony overr the river with a picnic bench on. Ideal for fishing, chubb, barbel, perch, rudd ALL being caught in the crystal clear water.
Ideal for kids to ply in, paddle bpards, inflatable canoes.
Stit facilities; 1 x femal/disabled toilet
1 x gents toilet
1 x showerr unit - £2. 00 but it is a really good shower.
Numerous water points along the pitches. Good undercover elsan point. Waste water point, well organised recycling.
SITE is not manicured within an inch of it's life but it is very clean and tidy. WELL WORTH £12. 00 pun of anyones money.
Great owner, who is always about, chatting or fishing, very helpful.

Great campsite, very quiet.
Friendly owner who let us use the kayak, we really enjoyed going on the river.
The facilities are basic and there isn't a shop within a walking distance so best come prepared.
Would go back.

Great little campsite in an idyllic setting on the river at an amazingly low price.
Each bay is large with its own picnic table on a balcony over the beautiful, bubbling, clear water.
The area is flat and well kept, clean facilities and very secure site. Would highly recommend if you are looking for peace and tranquility.
My only comment is that, for us personally, the temperature of the shower could have been a little warmer.

What a find. Perfect site for exploring the area around Clumber Park.
Has everything you need unless you require electric - which we don’t.
Super friendly owner who couldn’t be more helpful.
Loved the riverside platforms and dog walking paddock.
I’m sure we’ll be back.

We used the site as a base for the Gloworm festival and exploring Sherwood Forest.
We are new to campervanning and found this site perfect for our needs.
Wonderful river view, small site with everything we needed.

Lovely small campsite with beautiful individual picnic benches overlooking the river everything as described.
Clean toilets and shower, sink area for washing up and recycling point.
Gazebo area and a secure dog area to allow off lead. Great customer service Mick called on morning of my arrival to check approx arrival time as site is secure entry.

Wow! What a gem of a place. It’s a lovely and small site and the owner Mick is so nice.
You are allowed to use the canoes and have a paddle up and down the river or just sit on your private jetty with a bench on overlooking the river.
Shower block is well looked after as well as the toilets with separate mens and women’s. And a well laid out recycling area.
Plenty of space for the little ones to have a run around and kick a ball.
You really do need to check this place out it’s wonderful!

Nice little campsite along a creek. Friendly owner.
Beautiful hiking routes in the surrounding. A little noisy due to the road.
The shower didn't work when we were there. But no complaints, because the cost for one night was 12 pounds.
I would recommend this campsite!
