Stayed here for three nights in our campervan and my son and grandchildren in a tent.
Geoff went out of his way to accomodate us being side by side which is the perfect way for us all to camp.
The animals are a delight and the free sheepdog display was amazing! Jack the goat is something else!
The gate is padlocked and all cars drove very slowly when we were there meaning the 3 and 4 yr olds were totally safe and able to explore whilst we kept an eye from a distance.
Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean all the time - no mean achievement
The village play park across the A69 is magnificent for all ages but slightly treacherous to cross.

A small friendly site with ample facilities in a great location near to Hadrians Wall.
Just a bit close to the A68, so a lot of road noise.
Free eggs!

I have stayed here a few times, it's 5*, we can't wait to return on the 28th.
There is only one problem, you have to be quick to get a spot so don't wait.
We usually walk to Barden mill and have a few drinks and some food in the village, last time Jeff came with us, what a night that was.

We absolutely loved staying here.
Karen and her partner were incredibly welcoming and helpful upon arriving,
The shower & toilet block are THE cleanest facilities we’ve ever had.
Lovely quite site, very tranquil, just what we were looking for.
Enjoyed it so much that we’ve booked again.

Great little site, just off the A69. Short walk into Bardon Mill which has a good pub.
Excellent base for Hadrian’s Wall - The Sill is just up the road.
Hexham is a short drive and we visited for the fireworks.
Owner very friendly and guests are given eggs from his farm.
Good value and EHU is metered.

Good south facing hard standing site.
Great 3 full day walks from the site to Hadrian’s Wall and associated visitor centres. C
Lean facilities with 30p per unit for electric (ours worked out at £3 per 24 hours) in March 23.
Jeff the owner can’t do enough to help and is very friendly.
Super pub only 10 minute walk away. Village tea room super.
2 local Sustrans cycle routes. Near the A69.
Will be back.

This is a 5* secure site.
It only takes minutes to set up as the pitches are all level and the facilities are spotlessly clean.
The washing up sink had good hot running water whenever we used it.
The owner is very helpful and brought us 6eggs as a welcome gift.
