There is nothing to dislike about Widdicombe Farm because the facilities are excellent,
The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is in a beautiful location.
Other customers I met return year after year which should tell you something about the site.
If you like Caravan Club sites you will like Widdicombe Farm because it is better value for money.

Lovely site, great location, no narrow roads as straight off of the dual carriageway. Peaceful well kept site and very friendly.
We stayed on a fully serviced gravel pitch with grass area on Apple Blossom which is nearest to the road but only really noticed traffic noise from loud motor bikes.
Very small dog exercise field which is fine for small dogs, but we have a lab who loves chasing a ball, so not ideal for this, but you can walk a dog off lead along the bridle path to Marldon about 30mins and there is a gated meadow on route on the left which you can take dogs in.
Ideally need a car to travel around, can't comment on local buses, but the park do have a minibus which runs to nearby resorts, as long as there are a minimum of 4 people wishing to use the service, dogs go free.
Small shop on site selling essentials and has, supermarkets within a couple of miles.
Didn't use the bar or restaurant but it seemed popular and they have weekly fish and chips van, Thai food van and Pizza van on certain nights or you can get a takeaway from the restaurant.
Would definitely recommend and will return, especially during school holidays when family sites are exceptionally busy. Thank you for a lovely restful stay.

Site has so much to offer but falls short on a number of issues not least the staff they were rude unhelpful.
Says dog friendly but the bar doesn't let dogs in during high season so unless you can get 1 of only 2 benches outside of the bar you have nowhere to sit unless you want to sit in the busy smoking shelter.
Dog walk is by the entrance so isn't the most convenient location.
Small toilet block is just about adequate as that part of the site was quiet wouldn't want to be there if the site was full.
10amp elec water readily available most pitches have own tap. Tv/ mobile signal just OK.
£30 per week for WiFi if you want to use more than 2 devices.
Local village has reasonably priced restaurant The Smoke House

Staff very helpful
Only downside the main road can be noisy, motorbikes roaring at high speed, unfortunately site can’t do anything about it.

This site is well run with helpful staff and very clean well maintained facilities. Some useful items in the shop and good bar /facilities.
We were unusual in being tenters as only a couple of pitches.
Only downside but nothing to do with campsite is that the exit is almost straight onto busy Riviera ring road and so needs to be executed carefully.

There is not really anything negative you can say about this site, the premier pitches are very good and have everything on it you could want.
The showers are lovely, 1 minor thing I cant reach the hooks, they could do with being a bit lower in shower rooms.
The only other thing is the wi-fi, it is good enough, it is just the price, most expensive I have ever used, they don't have enough packages for multi use and different amounts of time required either, the company they used to use before was much better.
Nothing else to fault.
