Lovely pub with stunning floral displays. Food and service excellent.
Grass site with electric. We were one of 3 units on site, so very quiet, except for the busy road, but did not spoil our enjoyment.
Facilities serviceable but dated.
Would return for the pub.

We were lucky to not get cancelled due to the biblical weather - apparently they were fully booked with Fri/Sat arrivals over the Easter weekend but as we were due Sunday we managed to get in, and had the site to ourselves for 2 nights.
The pub's opening times were weird! Food a bit pricey.
Nice flat site but easy to see how grass would get waterlogged.
Little bit of road noise but not too bad.

Camping field next to the pub, flat and in good condition, we were one of a few campers but 40 pitches so would be packed field and with only 3 toilets/2 showers for women.
There was a busy road alongside the pub so recommended the rear field pitches 40/41. Facilities basic but would be perfectly fine if cleaned and toilet roll kept topped up.
The camping manager has left for season, declined a shower as tray and tiles grubby.
Pub itself is beautiful and food good not cheap.
Would recommend for couple nights away if have own facilities.

A nice flat site adjacent to the Bat and Ball pub.
Very friendly and helpful site management.
The pub serves good and good and varied food if a little expensive.
Site toilet and shower facilities need to be up dated but are kept very clean.

Loved the whole experience.
The bat and ball was a lovely pub the gardens were exquisite fire pits to keep off the chill and ample seating both inside and out.
The food was superb much higher standard then we expected and the cocktails were lovely.
A warm friendly atmosphere it was perfect.
The touring pitches were massive all the toilets and showers were spotless.
Electric and water close to caravan.
If there was any criticism it was the road noise but that can't be changed and we will be back very soon.

Very neat, clean site. £35 pn with hookup. Free wifi is good. Grass only.
Very convenient pub - good food if a bit pricy. Otherwise a bit isolated. Warden is friendly and helpful.
Minor niggles -
We couldn't find a drive over grey water dump.
There is no separate play area for children so they tend to play around the vans.
Some notes about the local area (cabs, walks, shops etc) would have been good.

What a wonderful stay!
Thank you to Patrick, Caroline & the whole team. This was our first visit & it was so easy, welcoming & relaxed. Patrick was friendly, organised & accommodating. The pub staff were great & the food & drinks were delicious.
If I could give any suggestions for improvements I think it would be great to have some breakfast options available. Just a warm croissant or bacon buttie would be great!
And some hand cream / moisturiser in the ladies would be fab!

Richard personally made us thoroughly welcome and provided the best possible pitch with hookup for our needs and site conditions.
Pub hospitality and food was great as usual along with cosy fireside seating to meet with family and friends for drinks and a birthday dinner.
Toilets and showers easily accessible and clean & tidy. The road was a little noisy which cannot be helped and wasn’t a problem.
The beautiful pub frontage and location more than made up for this.
We will stay over again soon. Thank you.
