Site was very clean and very quiet at night, it was good that the toilet blocks was open again.
It would be great if the council would consider putting lights in the site as it can be very dark especially for those families in tents that have to use the toilet facilities at night.
But over all we really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend to other families

Had a really good couple nights there nd my son and great time. Plenty to do so can't get bored
Good walkways along lough beach nd only 10 minute walk to Antrim castle which we managed spend 2 hours in. Access to water so can easily do water sports in the lough. There are also plenty of ducks and swans to feed and the sense aren't scared and come up close.
Will definitely be back again

This is not my first time staying at six mile water nor will it be my last. Everything we look for in a site is here.
Nice, quiet, clean, spacious, site with a cafe, play park and beautiful gardens around the perimeter.

This campsite is in a great location just beside the lough shore and handy to pop to Antrim for provisions.
The grounds are well kept and the coded barrier gives good security.
We ate take away fish&chips from the new eat in/out restaurant.
There’s so much for kids to do at the lough or the extensive play park.
Definitely stay here again.

A good site for a night or two, ok for more if you enjoy watersprts and get some decent weather (neither applied to us). Very friendly and helpful warden, as we arrived too early and our pitch was still occupied, found us another which was better. Ask to go up to the end of the site if you need Sky tv.
There is a good walk in the direction of the town just outside the site, don't bother going in the direction of Lough Neagh, you won't get very far. Go and look in the grounds of Antrim castle which is lovely.
Tesco is not far for food and fuel, left out of the site, right at the traffic lights, you will see it easily. If leaving for the Larne ferry, go straight on at these lights, next left signed Randelstown then after a couple of miles, right onto the M22.
The only problem we had was negotiating the many speed bumps on the approach to the site, and when leaving there are 2 security barriers, why?

A nice site by the water. Stayed two separate nights. Easy to get to from the ferry in Belfast. 30 mins away. Toilet block could do with a bit of updating, but the pitches are good and the location is great for the town and water facilities.
Antrim is lovely. Next to a car park for the use of the waterway. £25 per pitch (on line) and you get an entry code. Hardstanding and elec. Wifi.
