We are from Holland and arrived on a Saturday afternoon.
At this time a quiet campsite, a few happy children, great facilities with good hot showers, clean toilets and nice people, just what we wanted.
A place to come back to.

SUPERB SITE and (basic) facilities. Lovely, huge field mostly pretty level - the lower 25% is a bit of a slope.
Shower/toilet/wash-up block is very clean, piping hot water and free (NOTE. The shower push button is also the temperature control, turn clockwise for hot -not immediately obvious). Plenty of hooks in the showers!
The site is within a mile of access to Wharfedale - ideal for walking to Bolton Abbey or Grassington. Lovely views to northeast to Wharfdale.
And at £10pp, pn (2023) that's great - especially for a solo traveller.
They also sell Calor gas.
Note - shower block is down 28 steps or - if you drive down - up a slope. Not suitable for those with limited mobility.
Sue is very friendly and helpful.
They do not claim to have child friendly facilities but I'd have thought the field is big enough for games that don't interfere with campers.

Overall a very nice place lots of wildlife and away from the road, only a 15 min walk from 2 pubs however there are no footpaths on this route and it requires walking down unmarked country lanes busy with large vehicles.
The pitch is literally just a field you can choose where ever you want to pitch within this area but most people cluster at the top end since the ground is most even.
The only thing that lost points for me is the state of the track into and out of the site but they have about 30 tractors so this is understandable.
Toilets were standard plenty of loo roll just bring something to stand on in the shower.

Basic campsite with very relaxed rules & fantastic scenery, cheap price but no hook up, toilets & showers could do with a little modernising but saying that constant hot water. No issues.
It is a working farm but no issues with that & the owners very friendly, also the wild life we had a duck & her ducklings visit us nearly every day.
Pitch size is whatever you bring, the price is great.
Very relaxing trip in a great part of the world. Visit it you wont be disappointed, just watch out for the midges, even our fire didn't keep them away.

The site is in a beautiful location on a spacious level site just right for a family. To spread out.
There were pleasant walks from the campsite both gentle following the river or more strenuous up Simon's Seat. There some lovely places to visit close by - Parceval Hall, Burnsall, Grassington.
It was an ideal locaton to get away from the crowds. The facilities were basic, just one block, clean and tidy - they were located down a steep flight of 15 or more steps and so would not be accessible for anyone who finds steps difficult.
The site is a working farm and we enjoyed the sounds of lambs and cows as well as a cuckoo nearby. There is no shop or wifi so it is essential to plan ahead.
We would stay here again for a short break.

Stayed August bank holiday weekend on a climbing/walking trip. Parked on (long, wet) grass in the upper field close to the farm. Adequate clean toilet/hot shower facilities in what appeared to be a repurposed cricket pavilion overlooking the pitch down beside the river and now occupied by static caravans.
A lovely basic site with no level access to the toilet block, no hook-ups, narrow and steep road access.

A small site on a working farm. It got quite busy and noisy at weekends and the owner didn't seem to enforce any rules. The main drawback is that the toilet block is down very steep stairs. So not good for anyone with mobility issues.
Despite the lack of facilities (EHU or playground) there were a lot of families.
2 local pubs within walking distance with great food.
Great location with lovely views. Lots of ducks came to visit us from the river at the bottom of the site. Reasonably priced.

A Campsite not to be missed.
We have been coming to this Campsite for a number of years now, it is very peaceful with breath taking surroundings, it is a basic Campsite, but with everything you need and is very clean with plenty of room to pitch your tent, what more can you ask for?.
Within walking distance is two pubs which both do fantastic food.
A small car journey is Pately Bridge, Grassington and burnsall.
I would definitely recommend this Campsite to both Families and couples, the owners are absolutely fantastic and are willing to help with anything you need!. Like a Battery for are key fob!. Again 10 out of 10 a fantastic site and we will be treturning back as soon as we can.
