Booked a week here as my son enjoys fishing, the pond was ok but be warned it isn't actually on the site and if you have a lot of fishing equipment its not the easiest pond to get on to alone.
The toilets are really nice clean etc, There is a washing machine and tumble drier room with ironing board and iron which was very impressive and a great room with pool table and books to borrow.
The price was good value for money, on the downside though we paid for a weeks internet but it stopped working after a day my son saw the owner about this on 3 occasions having been told he could have a refund if it didn't start working but he was fobbed off each time and didn't get a refund, at 15 he works hard for his money and it has put me off returning. However the site itself was lovely and clean very quiet and lovely views around.

Chose this park as I wanted to do some fishing and the previous reviews were all good. Unfortunately the park fell well below my expectations.
On arrival I could not find reception and a young girl working by the toilet block completely ignored me not a good start. There are signs up stating no workers or vans or commercial vehicles but at least three of the permanent caravans had workers using them from Monday to Friday. The fishing lake is no more than a duck pond and if you manage to get over the stile with your fishing tackle it is virtually impossible to walk round it. The pictures on the web site are very deceiving.
The toilet block was ok but all in all I felt the holiday was a complete let down. I will not return.

This was a last minute booking and we were lucky to get in as lots of sites in the area were full.
As most people have said, the toilet block is very, very good indeed. Pitches are big enough and this site is attractively presented.
Wellington is just 10 minutes away and has an Asda and a Sainsbury's. Tiverton is a bit further and has a Tesco.
We went away for the weekend to paddle on the canal but couldn't find the end nearest the campsite so ended up paddling the Tiverton end which was lovely.
Just one word of warning, if you have a problem with wasps the recycling area was heaving with them. Don't think there's anything the owners can do about this, but best avoided if you react badly to stings.

Stayed at this site as a last minute thing - just to get out in the 'van.
Directions from the North are easy, with the exception of missing the instruction for the motorway roundabout (coming off at the first exit takes you down a country lane) - head for Wellington off the roundabout, then pick uptake instructions form there.
The owner contacted us before arrival to say she wouldn't be around when we got there, but to choose a pitch from a selection, and she would catch up with us in the evening.
Pitches fairly level and pretty long (car parked in line with the van no problem. Minor niggle was the width of the pitch - with one edge of our van on the line, the porch awning was really close to the adjacent van (approx 3 foot?) I would hate to have planned to use a full awning with that width.
Faciities: Very clean toilets (fresh flowers in both) also with a games room (with lots of info/leaflets on things to do in local area. Also a single dish washing sink on the side of the building.
When we were visited by the owner, there seemed to be an emphasis on recycling (which I admire) including food - this wasn't mentioned on the website, and we felt compelled to go out and buy some composting food bags in order to comply. Everything that can be recycled is - but the emphasis from the owner was if we didn't comply, she would be fined. As I said, I have no issues with recycling, and commend the site for doing this, but advance warning of the expectancy would have helped (we recycled all that we could during our stay)
Surrounding area - a nice big field next to the site (with a small coarse lake) allowed us to let the dog of her leash, and also the western canal is not too far away that is a pleasant walk (although not too many boats on the canal. )
A site that we would go back to, peaceful and relaxing, and very well kept.

A lovely site beautifully situated in a rural location. It was easy to find and handy for the M5, so we stopped for one night on our way north but would certainly stay longer another time. We were a little confused about the recycling rules, imposed by the county we presume, so took our rubbish home, but otherwise could not fault anything. The showers were hot and all the buildings were clean and well maintained.

Great site. Very well looked after. Good clean facilities. We were shown straight to our pitch by very helpful staff member.
We found the site to be perfect for cycling and walking the nearby Grand Western Canal. There are plenty of nearby pubs etc either along the canal or in the surrounding villages. Its also well situated for the towns of Wellington, Taunton and Tiverton. We chose this site as somewhere new to try. It was easy enough to find. Secluded but not too far off the main roads. I would imagine this site would make a great short stay site if you were on your way further down to Cornwall or coming back up. But equally its well situated for a longer stay. We would happily recommend this site and would definitely stay again.
Thank you.

Planned to stay here for couple of nights while touring on motorbikes, ended up staying the week.
The site is clean and very well maintained, the owners are the most laid back nice and helpful people you could meet.
The facilities are clean and the showers were always hot, a room with a pool table books and boardgames there to use, or just sit back and chill.
This is a very relaxing place to be with lovely views of the country side. It also boasts a fishing lake, witch we used daily and caught some good size carp perch and roach. Cant wait to visit again.

A very nice quiet terraced site with hard standings and grassed areas and plenty of EHUs.
There were very pleasant and helpful owners who were keen to help with local information and also quick to respond to minor problems on site.
Clean toilets and showers are conveniently placed and a lounge room with pool table is available if you need to relax and have a different way to spend an idle hour or so.
Dog owners will find themselves very welcome as there is a very large field next to the site where they can exercise the dogs and if there are no sheep or alpacas in the field then free running is allowed.

Lovely quiet site. Welcoming hosts.
The shower and toilet block although not modern were as good as any. Plenty of pressure and hot water, soap, hairdrier & fresh flowers! - above all it was very clean.
Very easy access from M5, supermarkets and very close to local pubs.
Gated at night (code access). Discreet lighting around the site and toilet/shower block area.
Hook ups, washing up area, chemical disposal etc etc
There is a small lake for fishing in and a large adjacent field for dog walking
We really enjoyed our short stay.
