Love this site, clean heated toilet/showers with excellent views across the Duddon estuary.
No dogs I’m afraid because of the resident sheep I guess.
A10 minute drive to Barrow with all the shops and food outlets you could wish for.
Definitely approach from Dalton roundabout.

A small site adjacent to a working sheep, cattle farm. Set across two small fields with a small amenities block (2 toilet and shower rooms + two toilet only).
Very relaxed atmosphere, choose any available pitch on arrival, paid via BACS on arrival. Short drive to decent pub serving excellent food ( The Greyhound Inn, Grizedale) Views of the Hills around Millom across the inlet.
Walney Island and Piel Island well worth visiting and the free museum in Barrow.
Beautiful hill walking around and the southern lakes not far away, all without the high fees charged at other sites.
Would stay again without hesitation, a tidy basic site at a very reasonable price.

This is a nice quiet site.
The shower and toilet block is very clean and well maintained.
There are excellent views of the coast and mountains, which are both within easy reach.

A lovely peaceful site with beautiful views down to and across estuary and a lovely friendly owner Tracy.
Beautiful grass kept cut short, spotless facilities comprising of two shower rooms with toilet and washbasin and open walk in shower (one of the rooms catering for disabled) and another room with toilet and wash basin in all very spacious.
This is a small quiet site one field as a CL type and field before it spaced for half a dozen units in a semi circle to afford lovely views.
Be sure to follow directions on website and go through Ulverston.

A truly mature site, everything needed without frills or fuss.
Lovely views, especially of sunset, Tracy alert, friendly, informative and keeping the place safe and spotless without tension.
Animals super cared for, so good to see a working farm so well run. So much more than a stop-over, thank you. No children advised on site as a livestock-mixed farm. (hence 1/10 rating)

This is an immaculate site, with exceptional shower rooms.
Beautiful views over the Duddon estuary/ sands and across to Millom and the hills beyond offering fabulous sunsets.
Great site for visiting the attractions of the south lakeland area.
No road traffic noise, good TV reception, extremely large pitches.
Lovely fish and chips from the shop in Askham.
We had a great stay - thank you Tracy.

Lovely campsite. Tracey is very helpful and friendly. The site is small and the facilities are probably the best I've used so far this year for space and cleanliness.
The views are beautiful, the site is nice and quiet. Its a bit out of the way from everywhere unless you have a car or are happy to walk, which we like. There are some very nice walks.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely look forward going there again.
Our son and Fiancee stayed in the B&B which they also said was very nice, clean with a good breakfast.
