Great location, really nice people and superb welfare block. Site is a bit tired and in need of some TLC.
Unfortunately our neighbour was a young guy driving an Audi around the site like a maniac (which caused heated arguments with residents) and he played loud music all day long.
We left a day early because of the terrible weather and not wanting to spend another day next to the Audi guy.
Could be excellent with a bit of attention.

Excellent location for visiting Exeter or East Devon, close to the M5 junction 30 but not too noisy.
Good facilities - plenty of hot water, good push-button showers and professional quality hair dryers (no extra charge), also good wash-up area.
Would recommend/visit again.

We were very disappointed in the appearance of the site when we first arrived.
There seemed to be a number of residential units which had seen better days.
The entrance drive had quite deep potholes which might be challenging for a caravan.
However the shower block, kitchen and laundry facilities were very good. The ladies area was spotless, the gents not quite so good apparently.
There was a library in the kitchen area and a fridge/freezer for general use.
We were only there a couple of nights to visit friends and family nearby and the site served us very well.
It was, however, one of the more expensive sites we have stayed on.

We stayed in the first place to watch the English ladies rugby Vs Canada at Sandy park.
The number 9 and 9A from Clearly just through the industrial estate is a great bus service to Exeter, Sidmouth, Seaton and Honiton. Really useful.
The facilities are first class and spotless.
The site itself is really OK if a bit untidy.
Perfectly adequate with level hard standing pitches, there is a field for tents.

Could not recommend this campsite high enough!
Has everything we needed, close enough proximity to motorway for other places to visit during the day,
Endless hot water, showers, toilet laundry facilities etc scrupulously clean at all times,
Easy access to several fresh cold running water points on site with electric hook up points if required.
Site owner very friendly and accommodating. Our rating? EXCELLENT!

We found the site perfect for our needs, staying as a family group for a weekend wedding nearby with mixed large and small tents and some electric hook ups we were still able to set up in a group.
The shower and toilet block was clean and modern.
Hill Pond is very much a site to go out from, it doesn’t have a pool and a big kids’ area but it is priced accordingly and very much does the job.

Great communication with Richard and Mike.
Spotless facilities and plenty of space.
All in all a well maintained site, had a great stay and would use again.

The facilities were good, but the site was more residential than touring. Though the residents were friendly.
Some of the units were very dated, giving the site a scruffy appearance.
So be aware before booking

A no frills site but good value.
Friendly reception, peaceful stay, nice, clean toilet/ shower/ washing facilities.
Very handy for Devon County show & access to Exmouth & Sidmouth.
I appreciated what I got for my money. I had my two dogs with me and that wasn't a problem.
There was an adjacent field for a leg stretch for them.
