 What a beautiful place. The grounds are full of flowers around the pub. We'll looked after.
Our pitch was huge over looking the lake and very private.
Will be returning very soon.
Food was lovely at the pub reasonably priced. But the drinks were a little pricey. A lot of people coming and going for food

Peaceful quiet lovely site,
Lovely pub with tables outside next to the canal and a great walk up to the old railway line,
Good facilities and loads of space on your pitch,
Will def be going back

Fantastic setting along the canal so picturesque,
Great setting for drinks and a meal,

Lovely site
Nice and peaceful and had a super pitch no. 11 right next to canal where we could see Barges going up and down
And also lovely setting of lakes with geese and ducks all around
And pub right on doorstep
Who could ask for anything more !

Peaceful pretty location by the canal & excellent Blue Lias pub.
Lots of wildfowl, ducks, swans, heron, unfortunately too many Canada geese & their droppings, like a minefield!
Good toilet/shower facilities, however no sinks for washing up.

Lovely setting close to Grand union Canal, behind a picturesque pub. However dogs not allowed inside pub and food is very basic pub grub.
Not the easiest site for Motorhomes as access to the single water tap blocked so containers needed for both clean and grey water.
Pitches are very spread out and you can pitch any way you want. This made the site peaceful and relaxed.
Fantastic food at the Boat along the canal, but you need to book.

Would recommend this to people
Made you very welcome and the pub food was good
Nice and clean
Worth a visit to stay here

Nice quiet adult only site, spacious (uneven) pitches, (26 - 30 nicely shaded in this hot weather),
Clean showers, good pub with above average grub, fishing on site (£5 for the day on the pond).
Only downside, could do with more water points and a dish washing area.
Shop about a 5 minute drive away.

A great campsite, plenty of room for awning etc,
The pub restaurant was great good food and drinks, able to eat indoors or out, great for dog owners,
The only thing I would complain about is lack of water taps on the site, but other than that,
I would go again and yes I would recommend.

Lovely quiet site. Kept well.
Pub on site do excellent value for money food.
Toilets are immaculate.
Could do with a few more water taps as a long walk from pitches 16-20.
