Although the site was waterlogged due to constant rain,
The owner did everything he could to help people on and off the site.
It is a very pretty, well-kept site.
The bird life was a joy to watch. Facilities modern and clean.

We chose this site to meet up with family after lockdown. A very pretty site with ponds and lovely willow trees and well mown grass.
The pitches are a very good size and the facilities were always spotless. We ate at the pub and were impressed both with the food and the very helpful and friendly staff.
The canalside gardens were a lovely place to have a drink and watch the canal traffic.
We are looking forward to returning later in the season.

This is one of the best campsites I have visited, this was my second weekend at the Blue Lias this month.
Extremely well looked after, beautiful Willow trees, ponds and not too many pitches which provides privacy.
The Blue Lias pub garden is lovely and provides a good meal. The staff were very pleasant and cheerful.
There are lovely walks - canal and countryside. The village of Long Itchington has a lovely pond and good pubs and a CoOp for general provisions.
Jane Murphy runs a very good business. I will be visiting again 😀

Nice clean campsite. Friendly staff. There is a pub and shower/ toilet block on site, but it was still closed due to COVID 19. The pub did start to do the basic takeaway’s when they were allowed to do so.
The fishing lakes are good for those who wish to fish.
Yes we would recommend the Blue Lias for a nice easy going break.

Lovely spacious site very neat and tidy. We were pitched looking at the canal nice to see the barges passing couldn’t comment on the facilities as closed due to covid but we knew that.
Some nice walks from site along canal to some pubs all doing food. The Blue Lias Inn was doing a basic menu but it was freshly cooked and reasonably priced.
Our only gripe is that there is only one water tap for the whole site which was a bit of a trek from our pitch.
We will return.

A very pleasant area that we often frequent as it's so peaceful where it is situated and adults only which we quite like but not all the time as nice for family to visit.
Situated in a good location for lots of sight seeing.
Pub food very good n staff friendly.
Yes will definitely be back if not this year then next summer as long as prices do not rise.

I do think that you should give a discount if you are not opening the toilet block up. You need a washing up area as will.
Now the good points the site is lovely and clean.
