Idyllic location by the canal.
Very large campsite field close to the Blue Lias pub which provides a good selection of alcoholic drinks and a varied menu.
Toilet facilities could not be faulted. A great location that begs a return.
A must for adults only. A 5 star location.

The site is beautiful and extremely well kept and the pitch sizes are very generous. There are showered and toilets on site which were immaculate, however nowhere to wash dishes but that was not a problem.
Next to the site is the Stockton Reservoir where many people were fishing, a small fishing pond is also available to fish from on the site itself and plenty of wildlife to watch and listen to. The tranquillity of this setting was just perfect everyone was really friendly. Dogs are welcome.
There are several other pubs in walking distance but the Blue Lais itself served a great selection of drinks and the food was good too.
We will definitely be staying here again.

This site is lovely, the pitches are well spaced and well-thought out. Didn't like our pitch much due to it being right next to the road to the fishing lake and people speeding up there day and night- but that was the only issue.
The showers and toilets were really clean and spacious.
The pub itself was lovely an old farmhouse originally. Lovely food. The only draw back was it wasn't dog friendly which left me scratching my head given the site is completely dog friendly.
Wasn't an issue this weekend as the weather was glorious but if it had been raining we'd have had to stay in the van and the pub would have lost plenty of business!
There is another pub up the canal - the two boats which serves amazing food and us dog friendly. Had a lovely time overall and will be back.

Very friendly staff and handy to be close to the pub although at present the menu is restricted -- no problem as food was good.
The toilets and showers were very clean although 1 day there was a queue to use the ladies showers but it was a busy bank holiday.
The site is well kept but wi-fi is non existent. TV signal poor.
We really enjoyed our stay but at times it was spoilt by very inconsiderate fishermen who are meant to use the designated road. Some totally ignored this and drove past our unit at speed.
We may return but would be very selective on our pitch choice.

Super site with plenty of space to each pitch.
Landscaped grounds well kept.
Canalside pub serving a decent menu.
Clean facilities, ( could do with expanding)
Fishing on site and next door.
Definitely worth recommending.
Will revisit without a doubt.
Value for money.
