Great site, our new favourite in the Cotswolds, perfect position if not for motorhomes as a walk into town. Most friendly wardens met for a long time who keep the site immaculate.

Mature trees and great enclosed dog walk.

Only few negatives

Poor mobile and tv reception

Showers clean and very powerful and hot but small seat

Little bit of road noise at the front but not a lot.

We go to the Cotswolds every year as only hour and half from home and love the area, usually we go to Cirencester which we love but this is our new go to

Another lovely visit to this gem of a site. New wardens this time Lisa and Chris who have continued the high standards set by the previous wardens.

We were on the fully serviced pitches and close to the facilities block which were excellent.

Good TV signal although my only experience of the Free club Wi-Fi was poor so we used our hot spot on the phone rather than pay for the Premium Wi-Fi.

Took advantage of the club discount to visit the Cotswold Wildlife park.

Excellent fish and chips on the Friday night from the visiting van, they also have various vendors on other nights.

Good play area for children and a dog walk. Some slight noise from low flying aircraft from Brize Norton.

We love the Cotswolds, but this is the first time we've visited this site.

For some reason the layout seems a bit weird and we weren't the only ones driving around quite a few times trying to access some of the pitches.

After visiting a couple of nearby sites, we were surprised how long the grass was before being cut and the area outside the shower block didn't look clean as there was lots of moss around which got trodden in.

The last receptionists were extremely pleasant and helpful, but one warden was rather officious, though he did help us when we later had a problem.

We cycled some wonderful quiet, flat lanes around to Lechlade and back, though our next ride to Burford was rather frantic due to the storms and flooded roads around Burford itself, which was unpleasantly busy, even on a Sunday.

Sadly, it's a location we wouldn't revisit.

Stayed at the Burford site several times due to convenience and indeed this is a great site.

Always well kept, very clean toilet block, pleasant welcome, location, and large playground for the kids.

Wildlife park directly opposite and no more than 20 minutes drive from various towns and villages.

Head warden is well versed with CAMC rules and regulations, pointing these out on arrival to several neighbouring guests, all of which appreciating his guidance.

Re-cycling site was poorly labelled though. As a result, the glass only section had a bin lid which stated no glass, with other bins being general waste all guests simply placed bottles on the concrete in an effort to get it right, being a Saturday evening, there was a shed load all over the floor. These had to be picked up the following morning, which could have been avoided

I would stress these are observations not complaints and in general this remains a great site.

A site as only as good as the wardens and both couples here are wonderful. Lovely warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Spotless facilities with nice hot showers thanks to the new boilers.

Lovely flat newly refurbished pitches and we were lucky to be be on the fully serviced pitches.

Managed to get a good TV signal without using the bollard. Only negative the new club WiFi it's worse than before. Both of us purchased annual club WiFi and using the new Free WiFi between us we could only get one of 5 devices to work and even that kept dropping out, even though the site was only half full. I sincerely hope we will be refunded the remaining WiFi period we purchased.

Unfortunately not sure how many more times we will use this one of our favourite club sites or any others due to the increase in prices when their are plenty of alternative sites much cheaper.

This was our first trip in our new caravan. We have towed a camping trailer before, have camped mostly abroad.

Arrived at the site around 5pm had a call on route to see if we were still coming( husband sorting out the towing electrics hence delay)

Had goggled the entry to site so knew where it would be.

Easy and friendly check in. Site only just reopened for the season.

Level pitches, gravel underfoot. Minimal occupancy whilst we we there. Wardens happy to offer help for us novices, which was great, no pressure so ideal for us.

Clean showers toilets etc, hook small low shelf in showers. ( no chair, bench though). Used pot washing clean area drainers etc Hot water but not extremely hot if greasy dishes etc)

We had good tv reception but limited data we are Three uses. We could have logged on to the clubs wifi, but did not.

Loads to see and do in the area. We visited Burford and it's church and cafe. A friend joined us at the site for the afternoon

I would return to the site. We used it as a trail run.

 Really nice friendly site.

Good facilities, plenty of toilets and showers. Helpful and cheerful warden.

Just over the road to a really great wildlife park, you can get discount for the park from reception.

This Caravan and Motorhome Club site also has 7 tent pitches. All grass with electric hook up. We booked online in advance but did not have to pay until arrival even though we are not members.

Friendly welcome. Reception also sells some basics. There is a freezer for your ice bricks. Pitches level. You can park by your tent as you unload and load but then need to move your car into a car park that is only 25m or so away.

The facilities block is also close by: large, clean and modern. The playing field and children's playground is on the other side of the site - sadly too far for younger children to use on their own.

The nearby road might be too noisy for some, but we didn't find it a problem.

Reception has maps should you wish to walk into Burford. It takes a couple of hours across field footpaths and quiet lanes. Walking boots prob needed after rain.

Burford Garden Centre is described as the "Harrods of the plant world". Well worth a visit, if only to window shop. NB cards only, no cash taken.

We also visited Burford Church: no charge but donations requested. Beautiful and historically interesting. There is a nice church cafe with a garden onto the Windrush. They take both cash and cards.

Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm Shop is a half hour drive away. Check opening hours online before you travel. If you enjoyed the series you know what to expect!

Lots of good things here; site attractive and staff very good.

However, with more than 100 pitches there are very few of them which are fully serviced.

With 2 people wanting to use their own shower a 40 litre water barrel is pretty useless. The answer is for the site to improve the number of fully serviced pitches.

Another great stay at this charming site perfectly placed to visit so many attractions in the Cotswolds the closest being the Cotswold Wildlife park opposite the site entrance.

We arrived on the reopening day of the site and warmly greated by the fantastic wardens, nothing is too much trouble and they the keep the place spotless.

Lovely flat serviced pitch, excellent Wi-Fi and used the TV hook up and had perfect reception. The facilities block was exceptional and usually empty.

The site was only half full this early in the season and very peaceful apart from quite a few military aircraft, I assume transporting supplies to Ukraine.
