 Fantastic site with very good facilities and wonderful views.
Man who booked us in was very helpful and informative.
Only sorry we weren’t able to stay longer but will return.
Would recommend this site.

Our trip to Sango sands was a trip down memory lane as it must be nearly 30 years since we came towing a caravan this time we had hired a motorhome.
I had emailed the site to book but got a quick reply from James saying we could arrive after 12 and see what was available.
We did and got a sea view non electric pitch.
The staff are all lovely and helpful and there are several toilet and shower blocks.
Breakfast rolls and coffee are served every moring great for everyone specially those in tents.
There is access to a lovely beach, spar next door with a good selection of provisions and a pub ( I think owned by the site) where you can get pub food and takeaways.
There is a range of pitches electric and non for both caravans / mobile homes/ caravans and tents.
There is no play area on site but then there is a big beach !
My only comment is its v dark at night and no lights so if you go out late take a torch. My husband forgot his phone( torch) and got lost !

We loved staying here. The campsite is lovely and clean. You can stay right on top of the cliffs overlooking the sea. We’ve seen seals orcas and northern lights here.
The shower and toilet block are brand new with a family shower room. There are indoor kitchen facilities. And of course you have the gorgeous beaches within view.
We’ve stayed twice here as we went earlier in the year in March 2023. This is when we saw the Northern lights on the top of our campervan.
There is a local shop and visitor centre. Smoo caves is right next door. We saw tons of wildlife including rabbits, pine martins.
There was a coffee shop within walking distance that had just opened in the March we were there.
Plus, there is a filling station close by.
If you need anything else the staff are more then happy to advise you.

We liked this campsite.
We particularly liked the campers kitchen as the weather was a bit wet and we only had a small tent with us, it was really useful to be able to use the kitchen to cook our dinner and breakfast.
The facilities were fine but can’t comment on the showers as we didn’t use them.

A totally amazing campsite in an unforgettable location.
No matter what superlatives are written nothing will prepare you for the views and scenery you are surrounded by.
Excellent showers and facilities including a shop bar and restaurant and don’t forget to try the toastie bar in the carpark next to the site ( probably the best in Scotland)

Excellent site and would definitely stay again.
Facilities were excellent and location superb.
10 out of 10 stay for us on the North Coast 500 route.
Had a 1 night stopover and cannot fault the site at all.
The beach was awesome and only 5 minutes away from the site.

Ideally situated right on the nc500,
Quick and easy book-in,
Good facilities and has a pub on the edge of site which serves food quite reasonably priced it also allows dogs in,
Fantastic views from the site.
My one gripe was a cold shower after queuing

Very helpful staff enabled move to pitch with sea view for second night.
Facilities good if you can avoid busy times.
If you are lucky you get a sea view.

Gorgeous. Insufficient shower block for size.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Great having a bar and takeaway on site. Used it the 2 nights.

I got no reply to my email I sent requesting 3 night stay but on arrival we were able to get the3 nights
The lady on the desk gave us pitch 33 then the next day moved us to 11b sea front which was very good off her.
Very clean and good condition and layout 👌 and staff very helpful and friendly
