Much larger than I had expected! Very well positioned for views of the sea.
Facilities can not be faulted, plenty of showers, toilets and water points.
Walking distance to Smoo caves, but don’t go on Tuesdays as the boats into the deeper caves do not run!
There are many sandy coves accessible down steep walks but “boy” is it worth it!

Excellent location with super views.
Shower and toilet blocks a little dated but perfectly acceptable.
All facilities easily accessed and well maintained.
Definitely return.

Sango Sands is brilliant for families with children, a short walk to the beaches and great for learning to use a surfboard or paddle board but be aware of offshore winds that can be quite strong so I suggest children are supervised.
The site is situated for days out and have a have a ZipLine adventure close enough for another day out, when we where there the restaurant was only doing take out orders owing to the Covid situation. Fishing is ok from the rockets or beach casting.
The beaches were always clean and accessible but pick your route as the climb back to the site is steep in places but a short walk takes you to a more accessible path to the beach.
Another worthwhile visit is to Smoo Cave but the walk is something like three miles but certainly worth a visit but check opening times. There is a very well stocked mini supermarket close to the camp and believe me they had a good stock that was replenished daily.
The campsite facilities I found very good and the family shower room was a good idea, toilets and showers where cleaned regularly. There is a pot washing area and also really good laundry room with washers and dryers but remember to to stay with your washing so other people can have use as well without having to wait until you collect your washing.
The grey and black water disposal points are a boon as there is more than one so a long track is not necessary again on other good point.
Last but not least you must have a chat to Rosie one of the camp wardens who was a most helpful person and has good local knowledge.

We liked the scenery of the beaches around, shame there wasn’t much to do if you didn’t want to swim in the sea.
Also very busy campsite with some noisy neighbours!

Lovely well kept site, fabulous views. Toilets and showers clean.
Only problem I had was on the grass you could park anywhere and unfortunately had a tent and Motorhome parked right next to me when there was plenty of area to park. Not the sites fault but maybe a reminder to leave a space between units.
I didn’t have children with me but had to leave a rating.
