July 2004 This is an incredible location. The views are simply stunning. Beaches gorgeous and the visit to Smoo Cave and Cape Wrath very memorable. Facilities quite basic - but we felt that 3 nights was not long enough. Children will love the sandy beach at the site. The drive from John O'Groats and the drive to Ullapool were incredible. We found the site quite busy at this time of year- mostly tenters- as it is all single-track up here. Roads easily accessible for towing, if you just relax and let cars past whenever one appears. Well worth the trip.

May 2004 Super location with stunning views. Levelling blocks will be needed for a lot of the pitches but there is a good range of facilties. Friendly owner who lets you stay until 18:00 before booking out!

June 1999 & several times before This spectacularly located site is a must-stop-at site when touring Scotland. Situated on top of cliffs overlooking two sandy beaches it naturally has great views. Excellent walking along the coast especially to the west where you can approach unbelieveably close to a colony of puffins. Electric hookups are unfortunately packed far too close together, so my advice is to do without. There is a flat field at the back of the site which most people miss, and is perfect if you want peace and quiet.

Easter 2003 Fantastic views. Unisex shower block so don't strip off too soon. Showers and loos clean and adequate, but if site gets full, would imagine facilities would be under a bit of pressure. Still worth going to for its stunning views and location. Would go again.

August 2002 Husband 2 granddaughters 2 dogs and self enjoyed a lovely stay at this site. It overlooks the Pentland firth, with safe bathing. Glorious sandy beaches and plenty of space. There is a resturant on site with food prices very reasonable, children can go with you but must not go to the Bar. There is also a camper kitchen, that can be used. Showers are clean and the water is HOT, Dish washing is free. Washing machine are very good so too is the dryer. Near to the Smoo Cave which is worth a visit. But the freedom for children is excellent.
