We really enjoyed our stay at The Waterloo Inn campsite.
We stayed there previously with friends.
There is a bus stop close by to go towards Ashbourne, or to Buxton. We went on 242 to Ashbourne.
The Tissington Trail is close by. Very popular with cyclists and walkers.
The food and drink in the Waterloo Inn was excellent. Friends visited us as it was my wife's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their Sunday Roast.
I highly recommend this site and hope to return to this site regularly.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

First time staying at this site and hopefully wont be the last.
Lovely quiet site situated at the back of a traditional old pub, the Waterloo Inn. Friendly, welcoming staff, amazing food and great atmosphere.
Facilities were good.
30min walk into Harrtington and 10min walk to Tissington trail.

Liked Everything !
Really friendly welcome, and showed to pitch, pub has good food and drink at a sensible price, everyone again really friendly in the pub
Gravel pitches with grassed area to side, all will need levelling to some extent
Toilets are those in the pub, but 24/7 access, showers clean and shower unit and head are pretty new, again 24/7 access. One sink to wash up, which does look like its in a bit of an old shed/lean to, but the sink is clean and the water hot, what else do you need.
Great location for walks from the site and easy access to Tissington trail for traffic free cycle rides, and can get access to High Peak trail from the Tissington trail too.
Haven't scored for child friendliness as don't have any
Can't fault the site, the pub or the location, will definitely return.

Set in a wonderful area with so many walking opportunities and adjacent to a welcoming pub that provides meals, make sure you book as it's busy.
WC in the pub but available 24hrs, shower in a separate building adjacent and both kept clean.
There is also a bus service to Ashbourne and Buxton which opens up more walking opportunities.

Spent 4 nights here, with electric hook up, £25 a night.
The staff were friendly, took us to our pitch and explained where the water, toilets and showers were, food was nice, we ordered food to eat at our pitch not in the pub and it was bought to our van.
Only one sink for washing up, the toilets are in the pub but accessable 24/7.
There was no mobile signal so no mobile internet, our TV aerial couldn't pick up TV either so it was lucky we had a box of games with us.
It was great to be able to spend a few days of peace and quiet with no phone. Phone signal came back when we drove a little way from the site.

Helpful/friendly owners. Very nice campsite that was clean and well looked after.
All the better that the pub is literally on the doorstep, so we were able to enjoy a get together with friends over a meal, washed down with a refreshing beer or two.
The stunning countryside enabled us to get closer to nature, our stroll along the river a mile or so away was delightful.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Waterloo Inn campsite.
Firstly, a big thank you to all of the staff, they were great from the initial booking and throughout our stay.
We had a warm welcome on arrival and that warmth shone through during the remainder of our stay, from the locals too.
The site is nicely laid out with mainly hard standings and hook ups. There were a few pitches for tents.
The showers were clean and warm, the toilets were the pubs toilets, but accessible out of hours.
The meals at the pub were good and varied and it was a bonus to see a fire blazing away in the bar.
We loved the local walks, and cycling the Tissington trail was easy and safe from traffic. The pub was also dog friendly.
We will certainly return.

Lovely pub, very welcoming!
I’m so sorry I drove on the grass, it was dark and I overshot the hard standing.
All great, peaceful and clean.
