Campsite is very clean, well equipped and super friendly. Staff are helpful but never imposing. Atmosphere is relaxed and jovial.

We enjoyed our stay second year in a row.

I would appreciate a reminder about the 50p for 5 mins shower. Logs and fire pit available for hire/ purcgase if logs.

Lots of "extras" not available at every site - access to bbq (with bbq) and kitchen area. Kettle and microwave for communal use. Laundry room. Play areas for the children in the centre of the large field

We will be back again. We are a lone parent family and the site is so safe.

Kilve beach, and one of the best cream teas of a lifetime, is just a short distance. The Quantocks are majestic and a very well kept secret. I would highly recommend this site.

The chickens on the way in and out of the place are both charming and comedy gold

Passing through the area by motorcycle, I decided to camp here due to its proximity.

Very secluded so bring your own food.

The price per night was a bit high for just 1man/1 tent but, all facilities I ticked were there.

One niggling thing that got on my nerves was my location close to the facilities and a bloody 24hr radio playing inaudible music. Because it was so quiet, the sound carried and it disturbed my sleep.

Other than that, ground was soft for my tent pegs, showers and toilets were clean and tidy, plus WiFi helped while away a few hours.

Washing and drying machines available as well as an iron if needed.

Roaming chickens around the site help remove some waste.

Really lovely site, facilities are good, really clean and plenty of sanitisers.

Pitches are nice and roomy and we had EHU & water on our pitch, don't know if they all do? Information booklet shows many walks nearby but car required for most.

Great laundry room with plenty of washing machines and tumble dryers. Two dish washing areas. The showers were ok but required 50p which we weren't pre-warned about so we could 'stock up' before we arrived and there was nobody at reception all the time we were there to get some change.

The main issue was that the majority of the campsite is occupied by contractors, mainly working at Hinckley point power station, don't get me wrong they're all lovely and friendly BUT they leave for work from 4. 30am every morning in cars or on motorcycles driving straight passed the touring area on a gravel track, really noisy!

Being woken at that time every morning is not good when you're on holiday hence the downmarking.

 This is a wonderful site.

It's beautifully laid out with plenty of facilities including a little shop.

Kilve beach was a lovely peaceful walk of about 40 mins.

Absolutely love it and will be returning.

On our way down we were very worried as we were booked on a grass pitch and there had been 3 inches of rain in the previous few days. The pitch how ever was perfect with no danger of bogging down.

The site was nearly empty consequently the facilities were spotless.

Cant comment on the owners/ management as other than the day I checked in I didn't see them just as well the ground was firm as I was pointed in the general direction and left to it resulting in a drive "off piste".

The showers (50p) were disappointing used them once then used the one in the motorhome as it was better(!)

 Lovely campsite

Really well looked after, lots of quirky details and character. Cool old signs and lovely flowers everywhere. Owners very helpful. We bought some of the local scrumpy from the shop as well as icecream amd logs for the campfire.

The pitches were very flat and spacious.

We can highly recommend the hood arms in kilve for a good roast and a beer garden.

Will return for sure x

This is a really good campsite: very well maintained pitches; great, clean facilities; small shop with local cider; bbq area and fridge/freezer; friendly and helpful staff; quiet at night and superb location. Expect to pay for all this and then an additional 50p for a shower.

There are two pubs within walking distance. The Hood arms at Kilve is very good for food and beer but the walk along the A39 is not recommended. The Plough Inn at Holford can be reached easily on foot via a track from the campsite.

Excellent location for walking, easy access up to the Quantock Hills or down to the coast. The construction of Hinkley Point C is well underway and I recommend a walk along the coast path to take a look.

Very pleasant stay and well worth the price.

It's great campsite with a very relaxed atmosphere, our children loved the play area, ponies and Guinea pigs.

Cleanliness is good, facilities and site are well looked after and maintained.

Just what we wanted after lockdown ! Quiet, friendly site. No pressures.

All very clean and tidy. Coin operated shower a bit of a bind but not the end of the world.

We would definitely recommend it and will try and use it again when next in the area.
