I was doing a charity motorcycle ride and simply needed a place to camp for one evening. If you are looking for a site in this area then you have found it, no need to look any further, just pick up the phone and you will soon be looking forward to meeting them. I arrived with a back up van offloading 5 of my bags. Our site hosts introduced themselves warmly, were quickly inviting me to choose exactly where I would prefer to pitch. I said I'd be back for my bags but they could see I had my hands full and without hesitation were offering to bring them for me. They supplied take-away menus from the locality and even loaned plates and cutlery. While waiting for the food their family even invited me into their garden and gave me a cold beer. Shower facilities cleaner than most hotels and very modern. I was even kindly allowed to charge my mobile and sat nav using the laundry sockets that were spare. This site was an absolute joy to stay at and it is run by such genuine and lovely people. They even provided me with a breakfast. Over and above and such reasonable rates too. Thank you so much for your hospitality to a weary traveller that night.

Used this site as a stop over on route to Skegness. Received a warm welcome from owners and family( including the two dogs) on arrival. Spacious shower/ toilet block spotlessly clean throughout. Metered electric very reasonable. Good idea. Pleasant location. Owners informed us they plan to open a coffee shop in near future which sounds a good idea. Did not have time to explore local amenities but hope to return to this lovely site in the near future.

The site was a welcome relief after a hard days cycling. We are a family of four, two teenagers, cycle camping with loaded panniers and a trailer of camping gear on route from Boston to Hull.
The day we arrived at Wolds View it had been uncomfortably hot, which had added to the challenge of the steep climb onto the Wolds via Walesby hill, so at the end of a hard, hot day, the site was very welcome indeed.
The site itself is new, well laid out and serviced. The facilities are immaculate, the washrooms well presented and the showers were hot and welcome after that hard day.
The attitude of the owners was a terrific bonus, enthusiastic about their park, keen to know about us and our journey. They were a great help, for example thinking to offer us an electric kettle so we could quickly have a cuppa after setting up our tent and offering to pick up anything we needed in the village.
The village of Caistor is lovely with plenty of choice for food, a co-op supermarket. We opted for fish and chips in the main square. We went to the village library which we had seen on one of Sarah Beeny's restoration programmes. It acts as hub for the community with a café, beautifully presented library and well presented items from Caistor's history. It was a great insight into what vibrant communities look like.
I would definitely consider returning to the park to use it as a base of further exploring the Lincolnshire wolds area.

This was our second visit to Wolds View. The first time was just for a weekend but this time we could not resist stopping a little longer so had a 5 night stay.
As before we all received a very warm welcome from the owners (including our dogs).
All the facilities are what you would expect from a high quality caravan park. There is a brand new amenities block with free showers as well as a laundry and washing up room.
On our first visit we were on one of the hard standing pitches but the last time we chose a grass pitch and were very impressed with how the sandy soil drained in a heavy summer downpour.
We love the peace and tranquillity of this site it is perfect for a quite 'get away from it all' break.
Caistor is a lovely old market town with all the little shops and pubs you would expect tucked away in the streets around the market square. And a co-op for the essentials.
We cant wait to go back and have horse riding and fishing on the agenda for next time.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention the excellent wine tasting at a local vineyard.

We visited this lovely new campsite on its opening weekend. The owners were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. There is a good mix of hard standing pitches and grass pitches, all with electric hook up and close to water.
The site is in a pretty part of the Lincolnshire wolds, next to a sheep farm - which we liked! the brand new facilities are excellent, hot and spacious showers and immaculately clean throughout. We took advantage of being able to hire a fridge for the weekend - great for chilling the wine and beer.
The owners are putting the finishing touches to an on-site coffee shop which promises to be a pleasant addtion to this modern and comfortable campsite. Dogs are welcome and the owners dogs are friendly and well mannered.
There are plenty of walks and the nearby town of Caistor is small but has pubs, restaurants, coffee shop, fish and chips, indian and Chinese takeaway, pizza etc. It also has a very well stocked co-op with lots of local produce. In addition to food/drink it has a very long and interesting history including as a Roman settlement.
We drove a few miles to a place called Brandy Wharf and found a pub by the river which makes its own Cider, that was a good find on a sunny day.
