Just had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful site. Such a lovely warm welcome by the owners nothing too much trouble. Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean I'm sure they had OCD because the facilities were always checked for cleanliness! Which is obviously not a bad thing! Thought the electric meter was an excellent idea( pay for the amount of electric that you use) we only used £1. 03! C'mon all you campsites use this idea. Thank- you once again and just to note there is an excellent tea shop/ coffee shop on site.

A quick review to praise the owners for a superb site, facilities, tea room and caravan storage. Having been badly let down by our current storage provider Global shipping Stallingborough, with minimal notice to quit the site. After some frantic searching I found Wolds View. This is a CASSOA GOLD accredited storage site for upto 60 caravans. What a bonus to have a well equipped, thoughtfully designed touring park as well. Having brought our caravan into storage this weekend, decided to have a practice weekend having just bought a new caravan.
The owners are a really friendly accommodating couple, welcoming to ourselves and the children. The facilities are well thought out with exceptional washrooms, showering etc. A superb tea rooms on site offering a good range of refreshments, and breakfasts was a real bonus. This is truly a family enterprise with both the owner's children working on the site & serving in the tea rooms.
There is a real vision to develop this site, though both are clearly conscious of not over expanding and maintaining the friendly & personal contact with visitors. Wolds view is truly a haven of peace & tranquillity on the edge of the Lincolnshire wolds, with cleethorpes only 30 mins away & Lincoln aprox 40 mins.
The market town of caistor is only 10 mins walk although on a busy road, with a good Coop store, numerous takeaways, and a great park for the children to play etc.
We were privileged to have found this lovely site and storage facility and look forward to many weekends and years of storage etc. Keep it up our compliments & jasmine was delighted with her boiled eggs for breakfast!

Just stayed 2 nights at this site, had a wonderful warm welcome from the proprietors. The site is peaceful, tucked in the Lincolnshire wolds, with easy access to the Viking Way and some amazing walks. It is just 15/20 minutes walk from Caistor town where you can do your shopping at the supermarket as well as find fish and chips etc.
It is about 30 minutes drive to Cleethorpes a seaside resort, as well not far from some lovely Lincolnshire villages and towns.
The site has immaculate shower and toilet facilities as well as laundry room and their own on site cafe, where you can get a hearty home cooked breakfast at a reasonable price and they serve tea and homemade cakes in the afternoon.
This is a new site and is a family business, where nothing seems to be too much trouble and certainly value their customers, we shall definitely be visiting again.

We stayed on the May Bank Holiday and were immediately impressed by the amazingly friendly welcome on arrival shown by the owners. We booked in and given a guided tour of the facilities before driving through the key-coded barrier and being shown to our hard standing pitch, although we changed our mind and opted for one of the superbly drained grass pitches. As long as you are within your allotted space you can park in front end first, rear end first or sideways. We loved the pre-charged card system idea of paying for what electricity we use as opposed to a standard charge which often has to take into account others burning electricity to heat an awning. We were there three nights and we are electric everything, including the Alde heating, and we used £4 worth of power. All sites should adopt this system.
On our first night our power tripped out so of I went to the reception where the owner was happily waiting for a late arrival at 9. 30pm. Where else would you get that! The owner reset the power for me and gave me another pre-paid card for a neighbouring power point just in case the power tripped again, but it did not. I loved the belt and braces approach to a simple problem. On Saturday morning the heavens opened and it poured down, but the grassed pitch remained firm and superbly drained.
The shower and toilet facilities were great. Very modern (as you would expect on a new site) and spotless at all times of the day. There is a great cafeteria on site with realistic prices although sadly we did not take advantage on this trip but we will when we return in June. We have also booked for December to use as a base for some Christmas shopping and our annual visit to Lincoln Christmas Market.
Our kids are grown up now so rarely accompany us but we are happy with the presence of well behaved children and on this site they certainly were. We had a family of tenters behind us and the children were great, despite the site not really catering for kids. There is however a large grassed area where they can run around till their hearts content without being any trouble. From our experience the site does seem to attract a very friendly clientele which is one of the reasons that we shall return here regularly. Unfortunately (or fortunately, whichever way you look at it), the site is not licenced for seasonal pitches. If it were, then we would certainly look at siting here. There is the option though of storing the van on the site on their CaSSOA Gold standard storage compound, and the owner will put your caravan on site when you want to come and stay.

My wife and I arrived on Wednesday April 30th for 9 nights and were greeted by the owners who showed us around the amenities block before allowing us to choose our pitch. Over the bank holiday weekend there was never more than 10 units on site so we haven't visited in peak season.
The site is new, having been established in the middle of 2013, so everything is pristine. The owners have worked sacrificially to create a site that is of first class quality. There are 3 showers for males and 3 for females, the entire site is well lit at night and although a road runs past the entrance traffic noise is virtually non existent.
A beautifully decorated coffee shop is open from 11 - 4 and on weekends cooked breakfasts are available. We had breakfast on Saturday 3rd May and it was cooked to perfection.
The owners do everything possible to make the holiday pleasant and they are always on hand to supply information or to assist in any other way required. They deserve to succeed and we unreservedly recommend this site to anyone wishing to visit this lovely area of Lincolnshire.

Everything about our visit was great, from the welcome when we arrived. A lovely site, well laid out - a lot of thought has gone into this and the owners have made every effort to provide a great experience so you'll want to return.
The pitches are generous, and the views just lovely - the setting is so tranquil. The toilet block is the best I've ever visited - warm, plenty of hot water, free showers and hairdryer, spotlessly clean day and night. The washing up facilities are equally lovely. Electricity is charged on a meter, which for us provided extremely good value as we don't use much beyond fridge and kettle. Much fairer than a set fee based on a large caravan!
There is a little coffee shop on site, which offered good value breakfasts, and tea and cakes in the afternoon.
The site is within walking distance of Caistor - sadly 28 of the 29 pubs formerly in the town have gone and the remaining one was very busy and noisy when we visited. There are fish and chip shops in town, plus takeaways and a Co-op for food to self cater.
The area in the Lincolnshire Wolds is very pretty for walking (and geocaching!).
This site deserves to do well, and we'd be happy to return for another relaxing weekend.

Having been let down by an overbooked site and expecting to be unable to find anywhere else at such short notice on a busy Easter weekend we were really pleased to find space on this camp site. As a group of 4 tents of close family and friends we had booked at the other site to be together, and were really please to be mostly together with one tent not very far from the others all with EHU. The site owners were very friendly and helpful and kept the facilities spotless with plenty of hot water for the showers and pot washing. The site had other services available included a fridge for rental which came in handy as one of our groups fridge motor burnt out on route. The ground was sandy and soft for getting the pegs in and well drained. The grassed areas were fairly flat so no rolling off the beds at night but there were some dips and bumps.
The on-site coffee shop served tea and coffee as well as an excellent selection of cakes. Nice touch to show the Grand Prix on the wide screen TV on Sunday, appreciated my quite a few campers. They also opened in the mornings for breakfast which we had to try out before we left. Even though we were a group of 15 they still managed to bring out a steady stream of meals so there didn't seem to be a long wait for our food.
Nice grassed area for ball games etc, but could possibly do with a play area with swings or something for the children.
There are a couple of pubs serving food either a 10 min walk or 5 min drive in Caistor as well as a couple of take-away's which I think can deliver. Again the site is very helpful with menus and details available in reception or on the information rack/board. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the White Hart pub where the food is all home-cooked and plentiful.
To sum up the weekend, Thank you Wolds View!

Arrived at Wold View after being let down by Tattershall Lakes Country Park, and from the minute we arrived they could not do enough for us.
The facilities are top class and very clean. Love the fact you only pay for what electric you use.
Very family friendly campsite with easy access to local amenities.
Lovely coffee shop with excellent choice of cakes, and excellent cooked breakfast.
The owner even bought all of our children chocolate Easter Bunnies.
Will definitely be returning with the family for another short break. Thankyou

We arrived after being let down by a large camping and caravan site. The owners were more than accommodating waiting for our arrival. The site is spotlessly clean lovely shower rooms and 'hot' water. A lovely tea room with free wifi that keeps your teenagers happy. We will most certainly be booking again. The owners couldn't do enough to help us on our stay.
