Just one word will do. Fabulous! The loos were the best I have ever seen in a campsite, the site overall was immaculate and the owners were lovely and would do anything to make your stay memorable. Will definitely be back. Also the pub The White Hart in Caistor village was a little gem serving top quality food at pub prices. The Lincolnshire Wolds are beautiful and unspoilt and if you wish to visit them this is a great place to start. Thanks very much Phil and Jane at Wolds View and see you soon :)

Having found this site in May when we were looking for somewhere to camp at short notice we have now been back several times.
The experience of staying here far exceeded our previous episodes staying at lots of camping sites. This family run site with Phil & Jane at the helm have created a beautifully designed site. From the moment you enter through the front gate you can see all the hard work that has gone into making this site so special, All the pitches are clearly marked with electric hook up's The lovely white stoned roadway around the site, situated next a field full of sheep that are so relaxing to watch as they play and the wonderful sound of numerous Owls calling out at night add to this winning formula of the 5 star facilities in the shower & toiletry block That put some hotels in the shade (exceptionally clean and warm. Air freshener, hand cream and tissues all supplied)There are also facilities for washing up, along with a washing machine & tumble dryer
We have a dog who suffers from Epilepsy and the peace and quite of this site and the friendly nature of the staff provide a great place for us to spend time out with her. Jane looks after the restaurant and the breakfast is worth every penny with lovely fresh local lincolnshire sausages, Mushrooms tomatoes.
The usual cost for the electric that we use over a 2 night stay is usually a couple of pounds.
Nice little shop that sells everything you need for camping and touring (plus the ice cream fridge). Thank you Phil and Jane for providing this wonderful haven on the doorstep to the Lincolnshire Wolds.
We have now progressed to owning a touring caravan and have it stored here so that we can enjoy this wonderful area as often as we like.

The experience of this camp site far surpassed my previous two holidays in a tent. An independent, family run site by Phil & Jane, with their daughter helping at the weekends. The family have worked hard in the short time that they have been there, from a bare field to a beautifully landscaped & well designed site. It was ideal for us, as we had a girl of 5 & it gave all the three of us the peace & tranquillity we needed at the end of some long days. We found the location ideal for getting to the beaches at Cleethorpes & Mablethorpe. Lincoln & it`s historic castle. The facilities on site were 5 star, from fresh tap water & electric to immaculate cleaning facilities in the shower & toiletry block. There are also facilities for washing up, along with a washing machine & tumble dryer. The restaurant is only open at weekends, but we had a breakfast second to none, with lovely fresh lincolnshire sausages from a local farm & tomatoes on the vine. They also serve afternoon teas or coffee with a nice selection of cakes & scones. Customer service was excellent, as it didn`t just stop when you went to reception on arrival, but they would always give us the time of day whenever they saw us on site, irrespective of what they were doing or how busy they were. Without a doubt they give value for money, as they truly are a family of hard workers, & they deserve to succeed in this venture. Although there isn`t a play area on site, it was never mentioned by our little girl. Like ourselves, she was very content listening to the animals from the nearby farm, especially when it was nearing their feeding time in a morning. We also loved the sound of the owls around 10 in the evening, so we can say that yes, it is child friendly. There is a park just the other side of Caistor, so we stopped in the town centre, bought some Haddock & chips for £2. 50p each, then went to the park & sat down at a table before our girl went into the play area. Can`t believe how good it tasted, or the price. Would we go back again? You bet we wll, because it was a wonderful experience, one that we had not encountered on our visit to 2 sites in the south of England. That`s largely due to the hospitality & warmth shown by the site owners.

Just spent two weeks at this lovely peaceful site. The owners are very helpful and always around when you expect to find them. They stayed open for us and others when late due to traffic problems.
The pitch sizes are generous and as we were camping in a tent, we were very impressed with the drainage, no nasty puddles after heavy rain. All have electric hook-up but we don't use electric when camping.
The toilets and showers are exceptionally clean and warm. Music, air freshener, hand cream and tissues all supplied (nice touch Jane. ) Showers and hair dryers both free. No plug for straighteners in toilets, if you need this option. There is a disabled shower and toilet too. Great information area with local attractions and local menus available. Phil & Jane know area well and can give info on who will delivery to campsite. The washing up area is well maintained and includes a washing machine and a tumbler dryer at reasonable cost.
The small shop is stocked with equipment you might need whilst camping. There is a wonderful cafe on site which is opened at weekends and is a must if you stay on site.
Safe for children to walk and play on grass but no children's play area.
We were there to walk and cycle, this site was very central to allow us to explore a wide area. Local village is a 20 min walk or less than 10 min drive away. Caistor has pizzeria, Chinese and chippy takeaway. Has two pubs, we did not samples these ones but we did visit many others in area. We liked the Blacksmith's inn which is a 15 mins drive away in Rothwell. We really enjoyed visiting St James church in Louth and climbed the tower for a very reasonable cost. Would recommend to friends. Would stay again if in this area.

This is by far the cleanest site we have ever visited! Attractive reception/toilet/shower/kitchen/laundry/coffee shop building at the entrance to the site, complimented by white stone roadways around the site. Everywhere on this site is immaculate. Toilets, showers & disabled wet room are more in keeping with 5 star hotel standards than a touring caravan park. These include little extra touches, like tissues & hand moisturisers near the wash basins. And radio/music playing.
Mix of hard standing & grass pitches all with EHU (activated by a top-up smartcard, with remaining credit returned to you when you leave), and 4 fresh water stands around the site. A very quiet & peaceful site ideal for people who just want to chill out. No play facilities for children, but they are welcome, (max 2 to a pitch), so probably best suited if you do have children, to use the site as a base for days out in the area. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of this site.
The on site coffee shop opens at weekends to serve a very filling, tasty, locally sourced full English breakfast at an exceptionally reasonable price, and afternoon tea/coffee & cakes, which we would have loved to sample, but were still too full after the breakfast.
The owners of this site, Phil & Jane, are a lovely couple, who have the balance of professional customer service combined with a friendly personal touch just right. Happy to spend a few minutes chatting & checking that everything's ok, and generally making the whole stay a very relaxing experience.
This site is well worth a visit for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet or even if you're looking for somewhere quiet as a base to return to after sight seeing in the area. There are local shops takeaways and pubs within a short distance of the site.

Just returned from this site and it was immaculate. Toilets were lovely and warm and clean, 3 showers which were spacious with hot water, hooks to put towels and a little hand basin in each one. Quite a large pitch, so plenty of space. Lots of leaflets available and a coffee house and very friendly people. Could walk up the footpath, less than a mile into Caistor village, which has a Bistro, a Pub, and a lovely Indian called D'Papas, we ate here and it was very good food. You can also walk a bit further into Kettleton which has a pub called the Salutation, also very good home cooked food. Went Friday and Saturday and it was a nice, quiet site for us.

Quick 5 night trip 1st camping outing of the year
Wolds View fit the bill perfectly, quiet rural immacculate with carling and attentive owners who are deservedly proud of this lovely new site. The shower/toilet block is spotless, warm, and has all you need plenty of hooks for belongings automatic lighting and hairdryers shaving points in gents. A smart beach theme coffee shop open at weekends ans bankholidays provided us with a tasty breakfast one morning and scones jam and cream one afternoon. 16 amp electricity pre paid onto a card was very efficient. The nearest village Caister has a few takeaways a pub and a great little wine bar/restaurant The Settlement.
Nearby Brigg has a Lidl and a Tesco and a quirky little high street. Less than 30 mins away is Cleethorpes a typical seaside town with a lovely sandy beach and surprisingly a few very nice shops and a couple of good wine bars. All in all Wolds View has a lot to offer for a short break. There are no child facilities ie playground but plenty of fresh air ! and under 14s are not allowed at bank holidays I think the site in the whole would be more suited to the more mature camper and we will I am sure return

What can I say that has already not been said. ? Impeccable, exquisite, immaculate. Words that don't quite cover the site we found on the first visit. Fine touches such as lotion in the washroom indicate the care in which this site has been founded. A most refreshing experience where we were greeted like old friends on our first visit served to set the scene for he weekend. Phil and Jane just exuded those caring qualities not found at the corporate club sites and having been invited to breakfast in their exquisite restaurant the next morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully luxurious feast to set us up for the day. On a practical level, the facilities were opened without the dreaded keys or dongles, the bane of the tourer. Why a touring site in the sticks would consider it necessary to lock toilets or even washing up rooms escapes me - so a big plus point here for common sense. A word of warning though: don't let this gem of a site become too well known for fear of it being booked solid for those who appreciate the finer things when touring.

Quite simply after having been camping for over 25 years the best independent camp site I've had the pleasure of staying at. Phil & Jane afforded Debbie & I a great hospitable welcome after a difficult journey to there (long story. ) reassuring us with help & support. The facilities are superb offering cleanliness warmth space & 5* comfort. The coffee shop on site is fantastic (good poached eggs coffee great service ; thank you ) They have landscaped a lovely park offering wonderful views with insight & thoughtfulness ; if you want a visit to Lincolnshire this comes highly recommended. Many thanks Phil & Jane you've done, doing & being the best ; we will return & encourage others to also
