 July 2004
probably the best site we have ever stayed at. Clean, tidy, friendly and loads of space on the pitches. Large play area for children. Good walks along canal. Good pubs within easy walking distance.
I don't think anybody, whatever your taste in caravanning, could have a bad word to say about this site.
Will be back again even though it is only 20 minutes from our home. My lad will remember this site as he caught his first pike on the canal (10 lb monster).

 Frequent visitor for several years
Excellent site, clean ,level, toilets are clean & warm. Site is open all year and reasonably priced. The small shop supplies most basic needs. Garstang is a nice 10 to 15 min stroll along the towpath, 7 excellent pubs in the village, all serving real ale and food, 'T'owd Tithe Barn' is well worth a visit - it's right on the canal. Will be going again this year

Lovely site nice clean facilaties , canal near by if you like boats or Garstang Marina if you want to hire one for the day (Ashanti Gold)

Grass is kept clipped short by the rabbit patrol and security by the morning duck patrol and waste bread collectors .

Nice clean fresh toilets and hot showers , washing room , iron and washing machines . pitches good size with many having electric hook up .

Blackpool , The Lakes and Lancaster all easy reach, the only problem is junction 32 can be quite busy at times

Overall a nice friendly site.

Immaculately kept with level, generously sized pitches, all hardstanding. A lovely setting adjoining the marina and the Lancaster canal, very peaceful with dozens of wild rabbits bouncing around the site. The heated shower block would pass the inspection of the fussiest visitor and there's a nice pub with decent food less than 200Yds down the lane. I thought it very reasonable at £11.50/night inc Electric.
Its also handy for a stopover, off M6 at J32 back on at J33 (or visa-versa) and you've only added 3 miles to your trip.
