We are just back from a two night break at this great site. We chose it because of the reviews we had read here and weren't disappointed. It is a lovely well maintained site with the shower and toilet facilities kept spotless and the grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a small safe play area which our children loved, and the site owners were very friendly and helpful. You can order newpapers, milk and rolls from the reception each day for the next morning and the Blackbird Inn which is near the entrance to the park is great for a drink or something to eat, it's very child friendly. I can't recommend this site enough and we will definitely be returning.

This site is very peaceful, plenty of room on hard standings with hedges seperating each pitch. Good childrens play area, toilets very clean. Small pub just outside site although we did not go there so cannot comment on food and service. Owner of site very friendly, rolls and newspapers were delivered in the morning.

We've just returned from our very first camping trip, which was to the Five Roads Caravan Park in Alyth. I am so impressed with this site, it was beautiful, safe and clean. The grass area for pitching tents was in the very centre of the park and was nice and flat. The toilet and shower areas are IMMACULATE! They are also heated as this site is open all year round. There is an outdoor pot wash area too with roasting hot water so you can get your dishes done properly. For kids this is a really safe site, there is a lovely little play area at the back of the site, all fenced in, which has goal posts, a climbing frame with slide and a set of swings. My little boy loved it. Of course happy kids make for happy parents. The owners seemed lovely and you could order a newspaper and rolls for the next morning at reception. Everyone we met on this site was extremely friendly and helpful, a lovely little community. The blackbird inn is at the entrance to the site and apparently does lovely meals. I was too taken with my new camping stove to try them, but others said it was lovely. Also my little boy didn't want to leave the play area, so we didn't even get to go in for a drink, even though they allow children up to 9pm. I would return here again in a minute. I only hope the other sites we choose measure up to this one, otherwise we're going to be very disappointed campers!

We visited here at the end of July/beg Aug and found the site a very clean one, as was the toilet and showers. The tents were well spaced out and you could pitch pretty much where you liked after being shown an area by the owner. It was nice and flat and had no problem with the tent pegs. I would visit again as it was in an ideal location for touring. The pub at the end of the site looked a bit tired but served decent 'pub' food.

We had a great time on this site! As said it is small and very friendly, the owners and other campers were all great. It is very well kept, easy going site and the kids play area was in a great location within the site. The toilet block was spotless and welcoming. Great to find a site so well kept and not bogged down with dos and don'ts! Will be back often

This is a quite small site, but is very friendly and peaceful is very relaxing on a evening. The toilet block must be one of the cleanest I have seen in a long time. Showers are also spotless. I look forward to returning. I would recommend anybody to visit this site for a quiet break.

I could find no fault with this fantastic site. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The surrounding gardens are well kept. Toilets are 1st class. Only a 10 minute walk from Alyth where there are a good selections of supermarkets and other shops. Peacfull surroundings, perfect location for a quiet break. Wont hesitate to go there again. Very good rates, 4 people-tent with hook up only £12.
