Very nice site, when we arrived we were met by an elderly couple who really didn't seem to know that we were coming [apparently the owners were not about] But they were very helpful. Toilets and showers were very clean, downside when you pressed the button for the water in the shower it only stayed on for barely 30 seconds which was a bit of a nuisance. We walked into Alyth which had a pretty little river running through it. We asked the owner if we could stay an extra night [we had only booked for 2 ] He was very accommodating even though he was very busy, we just had to move our motorhome opposite onto a grass pitch which was no problem.

Absolutely lovely little site within nice walking distance of Alyth (which was surprisingly really lovely). Facilities were spotlessly clean and the site was very quiet, despite being fairly busy over the weekend we were there. We were in a motorhome and our friends came in their tent and our request to be beside each other gave no problems whatsoever. The owner was very helpful both before we actually got there and while we were there, and very friendly. Excellent area for walking too. The pub at the entrance to the site left a lot to be desired. Staff were very nice but the actual pub needs a proper facelift. Nice touch, however, was the little hut selling raspberries and blueberries in the pub car park - not sure if it belongs to the pub or the site, but the best raspberries we've had in a long time and very reasonably priced and with an Honesty Box! If I had a gripe, the only thing I would say is that, while the showers are spotlessly clean, there aren't enough of them. There is one little shower outside the ladies loo and one big shower inside. We didn't see anybody ever use the little shower. The site would be better turning it into a loo and losing a couple of loos inside and making 2 big showers in the ladies. Other than that, very small, moan, this is a fabulous place and we will most definitely be back again.

This is a great wee site just outside blairgowrie. Pitches are ample size and even, some hard standing around the edge of the site, and grass in the centre. A small number of statics. A small children's play area. Toilet block is good, clean and plenty free hot water. One shower in ladies was large area, one was small. Good waste and water points with recycling. Laundry is good and reasonable with tumble drier. Site is immaculately kept and we were made very welcome. Dog walking outside site is good, although along road, it is a separate foot path and dog bins are available. Nearby village of Alyth is a 20 minute walk and is lovely with shop, cafe, butcher and restaurant. We found this site by chance, but we will be back as it is so nice.

What a lovely site. Absolutely spotless. Showers/toilets cannot fault the cleanliness. Stephen the owner was very friendly and helpful. Our first time at the campsite and were well impressed and the price was so reasonable. Very well situated as well. We visited Edinburgh, Inverness, Dundee, Aberdeen, Perth and finally went to the Isle of Skye, Lewis and Harris. A very enjoyable holiday. We also went into the public house at the entrance to the campsite. We also found that very friendly. Cannot praise this site highly enough.

As the previous reviews state, this is a very well kept site. Spotlessly clean with a warm welcome, The pitch we had was well spaced & very level hard standing, the bonus of fresh rolls & papers in the morning is just icing on the cake. We didn't use the pub at the entrance to the site as we were only there for two days, but from what we were told from other campers the standards were very good.
We will certainly be returning to this site & recommending to others.

We have used this site twice this month (May).
Such a lovely site, owner very helpful, will get your papers and rolls for the morning.
There are actually two showers per unit. The facilities are immaculate, we have paid more on other sites but these are the cleanest. Love the 'detail' touch of all plugs on chains being laid the same way.
Great park for the kids, all seems new. Short walk into village. We would recommend the Losset Inn, better prices than the Blackbird Inn. The Losset doesn't have the largest menu but the food is generous and well presented.
This site is one of those little gems you want to keep for yourself.

Lovely little site, very friendly and helpful staff and the cleanest facilities I've seen in a long time. Excellent pub (The Blackbird) just outside the gates with great food and friendly staff. Ideally placed for touring and just up the road from Scone Palace. The village of Alyth is within walking distance and has all the shops you need. Campsite is very popular so book well in advance.

Stayed here for two nights over the Easter weekend. This is a nice, well-maintained site in a quiet location, with easy access to shops and places to eat and drink.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. All hard standings were gone, but he gave us our choice of grass pitches, all with electricity supply, and we had a pitch with lots of space around us.
Toilets and shower were very clean; only one shower in each of ladies and gents, but this didn't seem to be a problem even though the site was quite busy.
We didn't have children with us, but the playground looks good, and it is right at the back of the site, away from most pitches.
WiFi is available, but we thought it was pretty expensive so didn't use it.
The centre of Alyth is only 5-10 minutes walk away. There is a selection of shops, including a Scotmid and CostCutter which are open long hours, pretty much every day, and there are a few local shops including a good butcher. There are a few bars, including a few hotels which do food. The fish and chip shop is highly recommended: food is mostly freshly cooked and there are queues out the door around tea-time.

Just had a brill 2 nights at Five Roads Caravan park, Alyth, Blairgowrie, beautiful well maintained site, spotless toilets and shower, fully heated, free, hairdryer too, hard standing and grass pitches, we had a hard standing pitch for our tourer, each pitch divided by rows of trimmed bushes giving you your own space, friendly owners and only £17 per night no hidden extra charges, also excellent facilities for wast water, chemical and fresh water, very close to village of Alyth and a few miles more to Blairgowrie which has a large Tesco, small Siansbury and Co-op, also for the kids a safe playpark Blackbird Inn at entrance gate to site, wonderful home cooked meals served from midday to 9pm, defo coming back for another weekend soon, thx Susie
