 Great little site with electric and water on each pitch.
The little reception does good several nights a week which is great.
Good hot showers but not heated block and no communal area which would be a great addition to this little site with a small cafe/pub would go down well 😜

Great little campsite, wonderful helpful staff, fantastic showers,
The little campers hut although very basic, was actually all that was needed, just to have a kettle was great.
My only gripe would be that my tent pitch and a lot of others were not flat, in fact they were definitely on a slope.

Good location to visit the north of Skye and or for the ferry from Uig

LOVED the location! It was fantastic being able to walk to see the fossil dinosaur footprints on the nearby beach.
Customer service was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and welcoming right from the moment we arrived.
We also really enjoyed the food.

Friendly welcome, very clean sanitary facilities and very quiet campsite.
Washing machine and dryer.
Attractive prices.
Large pitches.
We had a small van.

Facilities very clean.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff who were so friendly.

What a great site in a great location. I was a bit stressed on arrival because we’d had, erm, a logistics problem with travel (Calmac ferry!) which resulted in us arriving a few hours later than expected.
I ‘phoned ahead to let the site owner know, and the lovely Alistair and his lovely wife Norma couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful. Wonderful people!
This trip was a bit of a whistle stop tour, so sadly we were only here for one night, but we will definitely be returning and will stay at this site for longer next time…hopefully in the near future.
Many thanks again for helping us out in a fix on my husband’s birthday!
I would award far more than 10 out of 10 for customer service if I could!

Wonderfully located place, beautifully laid out.
Very friendly and uncomplicated reception service.
Hot water when showering and Wash off.
Ideal starting point for hikes and for onward journeys to the Outer Hebrides. Nice to relax from long journeys.
Portree and "The Old Man of Stoer" are in the immediate vicinity. But we preferred a circular hike to the enchanted cemetery, to the beach to the harbor and then over the mountain back to the campsite and enjoyed the peace and seclusion.

Wunderbar gelegener Platz, sehr schön angelegt. Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Empfangsservice. Heisses Wasser beim Duschen und
Abwaschen.
Idealer Ausgangsort für Wanderungen und für die Weiterfahrt zu den äusseren Hebrides. Schön um sich von den langen Fahrten zu entspannen. Portree und "The Old Man of Stoer" befindes sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir bevorzugten aber eine Rundwanderung zum verwunschenen Friedhof, an den Strand zum Hafen und dann über den Berg retour zum Campingplatz und genossen die Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit.
