The campsite is in a good location.
All the facilities are excellent.
I m driving the motorhome for the first time.
The parking for motorhome is spacious with water and electricity at the pitch.

Fantastic site
Clean showers and toilets
Excellent laundry facilities and the bonus of a short dog walking site on site
Only downside is lack of nearby shop if you forget anything but site owners/manager very helpful
Definitely 10/10 Andy Forres

A lovely campsite with level hard stranding pitches on a sloping grass site.
A footpath leads from the site to a spectacular view point overlooking the beach at Staffin, where at low tide dinosaur footprints can still be seen (about 40minutes).
Hot food can be delivered to your pitch on 5 nights per week.
When we were there the site was fully booked so the 2 male showers & 2 male wc cubicles occasionally created a queue. The same applies to the female facilities.
However we are happy to recommend this site & would use it again in the future.

Good location and friendly staff.
Mazing views and good access to excellent walks or climbing (if that's your thing).
Facilities ok, didn't particularly use them.
Nice pub just across the road for food.

Nice campsite. Good sized pitches. Pleasant staff.
Showers and toilets need updating. The showers were very small and cramped and only 2 showers in each of the men's and women's blocks.
3 toilet's in each and only 3 sinks in each too.

|
Management response: We invested a lot of money this year to bring the facilities up to date including whitewall and new cubical doors to enhance the premises.
The showers are spacious, they are not coin operated, always open and hot water is readily available.
There is no time restrictions on how long you spend, we just ask guests are courteous to each other.
However your comments are noted
Thank you |

Excellent site with great facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
You can walk from the site to the beach and look for dinosaur footprints.
On some nights there is a cafe that provides great food or you can walk into the village where there is also a good cafe.
Top tip: bring some change as the washing machines and dryer only take coins.

Nice site and lovely staff that we're very helpful.
Good food and facilities.
Pitch number 1 near to waste bins that had a bad smell.
Good for exploring Staffin and local area
via mobile
|
Management response: I did discuss this potentially with perhaps the reviewer. Its a bit unfair as the refuse bins are collected at the campsite gate near pitch 1. They are held in storage but at 7am each Monday we bring them to the road end knowing that they are collected 7:00am to 7:15 normally. Its unavoidable but bins have to go out at some point to a sheltered location else the wind will catch them |

Cracking site run by a lovely young couple, who couldn't do enough to help their guests.
Facilities are all good and everything is kept clean and well organised.
Hope to return in the future and very happy to recommend to others.
