Place was great. We were allocated a great spot next to water and bins. Very close to toilets and showers. The lady in reception was very informative about the area.
The views from the site were great. From the site we took a path as advised by reception to the beach we’re there were dinosaur footprints on the beach. We also on, advise visited the Fairy Pools and the Quiraing walk.
The only downside for us was the showers. The controls were difficult ( we have been camping in UK and Europe for years ) the small seat that I sat on ( for changing )collapsed and it could have been serious. It was difficult to keep sleeping clothes dry.
Yours Gordon and June Macleod
PS We received advise about a problem in our campervan on a noise. From the fuse box area which was good
PS if it wasn’t for the showers I’d give it 10 out of 10

Well kept site in beautiful location. Spacious pitches.
Footpath to the beach directly from site and local shop also within walking distance.
Showers and toilets were clean, staff friendly and helpful and prompt communication when booking.
Convenient for Uig ferry port -
Approx 25 minute drive through stunning scenery.

It doesn't get much more beautiful than the Isle of Skye and this campsite is set is set right in one of it's many quiet pockets - added to by the fact that there are a limited number of parking spots.
Lovely, peaceful place with clean facilities and friendly host.
The entry sign is small, so keep a close eye out for it right on the edge of a very small village.

A great site with all the amenities that we needed. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Showers, washing-up facilities and even a microwave were great. Lots of tourist information on site.
Self-catering is essential as there is not much in the way of places to eat nearby.
The community shop in Staffin is, however, very well stocked.
There is a cafe at the shop but with limited opening times.

We stayed for a night to get water and empty our loo.
Had benefits of really good, but a bit tired, hot showers, washing machine/ tumble dryer and an enclosed field we could let our non sheep trained dog off lead. 1:30 hour walk (there and back) down to the bay which was gorgeous in the sunset and found some dinosaur prints there too!
No views from the site itself.

Lovely little campsite at staffin bay,
I didn’t catch the lady’s name at reception think maybe it was aurora but she was very welcoming and friendly.
The facilities at the site are very good and wouldn’t hesitate to use again in the future
Thanks

Really nice campsite, we ended up arriving without a booking looking for a pitch to park our car and had no problem getting sorted and put into a lovely pitch.
Nice toilets and kitchen area and very quiet and calm environment.
Would definitely come back again!

Staffin campsite is terrific, quiet, surrounded by mountains and close to the coast with dinosaur footprints in the rock!
The manager was so helpful with advice for the bus to Portree, and further travel tips for as o was interested in Neptune’s stairway and the Caledonian canal.
Plenty of hot water in showers and a very welcome little kitchen area.
Thanks!
