Lovely peaceful little campsite with friendly and helpful staff.
Really appreciated the kettle and microwave and enjoyed getting couple of meals delivered to camping pitch!
Great location for exploring the north of Skye and good walk from site to Staffin beach.
Lost a star for facilities because mirrors and hooks in washroom too high for a small person.

Lovely site, with all necessary facilities! Staff very helpful
Perfectly positioned for a walk to Staffin Bay / An Corran beach
Only marked down as the mirrors are for anyone over 5’6”, I could see the top of my head 😆! No where to sit to dry yourself in the showers or enough hooks ( my bothers complaint)
The chemical toilet was indoors, so it made it exceptionally smelly, I was gipping, took me 20 mins and much moaning to recover from that 🤢😳🤣
Would stay again
You could get take aways at the site and in the evening
Also a shop and cafe in Staffin, which had a good menu

Absolutely loved our stay, the staff were lovely.
The facilities were great, showers more roomy than most campsites (and were always lovely and warm) and they had a campers kitchen including indoor sinks, table, a kettle and microwave - very handy!
The site is well located close to loads of attractions along the coast, Quiraing, An Corran beach, and kilt rock are particularly close.
They do a wee breakfast and dinner service most days that delivers to your pitch delicious food such as bacon butties and beef burgers (they had veggie options I think).
Highly recommend.
The actual pitches are a wee bit slopey but not too noticeable if you pitch your tent in the right orientation. Grounds nice and soft for tent pegs.
Sites location only marked down by one as it's not got much views from the site you can see a bit of the ridge from the pitches though, and a short walk gets you right to the beach so whose complaining!

If you’re doing the NC500 this site is a must.
Great location, facilities and staff.
The views overlooking the beach are breathtaking and booking fees won’t leave you as breathless as the views

Beautiful site, friendly and helpful staff.
Clean toilets and showers.
I can understand why booking in advance is acquired.
We loved the burgers and chips we ordered and were brought up to our pitch.

Staffin campsite is well positioned on the island and great to use as a base to explore the rest of the island.
Friendly staff on site and the facilities were clean and well maintained.
The showers are brilliant, hot and powerful 😁. Hot food/snacks also available on site if required.
There is a small local store a 10/15 walk away for supplies.
I would definitely use the site again.

Our stay at Staffin was one of our favorite campstays ever.
We were there two nights and wished we could have stayed longer.
Everyone, from working on the site to the neighboring campers, was so friendly! And the food was great and so helpful at the end (or start) of a long day.
On a hike at the Quiraing, we bumped into a local teacher who knows the people who opened the campsite and had nothing but fab things to say about them on the community side, as well.
Overall 15/10!

Well organised site in a good location.
Facilities small but spotlessly clean.
Pitches hardstanding and level.
Food available on site and a good cafe and shop just down in the village.
Excellent walking opportunities
Only complaint was that the water pressure was very low at the top of the site where we were located, at morning peak we could not get any water!
|
Management response: Thank you for the review and unknown to us on this day there was a burst pipe in the village, flow was reduced across the village, we weren't aware fully until later that morning of the issue.
We hope to see you again in the future. |
