We returned on the 29th Aug from a week at West End Farm, myself, husband and two boys (7 & 2). We all had a fantastic time.

The site is well laid out, lots of shelter and very spacious, lots of room for the children to run around and play football etc. Also a swing which kept the kids amused.

The site is small and relaxed, the toilets and shower block were small but we never had to que and they were absolutely spotless. Infact I was amazed at how they always appeared to have just been cleaned.

The owners were very friendly and the site had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Ten mins from Louth, and twenty mins from Mablethorpe.

None of us wanted to leave and we can not wait to go back.

We have just return from a fantastic week at West End farm. Our daughter 6 really enjoyed herself playing with all the other children on the site, the site is very quiet and out of the way, with lots of space to pitch and for the children to play in with a small swing and penty of tree area for them to have their dens in. Owner and his children are very friendly and helpful and leave you to enjoy your holiday but are always there if you need anything. Facilities are very clean and tidy, and showers are free with plenty of hot water. We will definitely be returning.

In my opinion. If Carlsberg made campsites it would be this one!

Probably the nicest site we've ever had the fortune to visit, so good in fact that within 1 day of our return from 5 nights there I had re-booked for another 6 nights later in August.

Nice surroundings, nice hosts, nice fellow campers who didn't make a drunken racket until 2a. M, shout, swear and generally make life hell for a week. Oh and all the children were impecibley behaved, its the first time we've felt comfortable letting our 7 year old have a free reign to run around in what we felt was a safe and well managed environment.

It probably avoids (and hopefully will continue to avoid) those afore mentioned undesirable people because it doesn't have club houses, games rooms, etc. Its a good old fashioned, basic campsite with all those things that you really need (toilet, shower, water and fresh air) and none of the things you can really live without for a few days.

Change, they say, is a good thing but it would be excellent if this site just stayed as it is!

Came here on a very blustery day and found a really sheltered spot. There are lots of trees and hedges which are good as it's flat round here. Midweek and termtime so it was quiet - mainly caravans all as far away as possible from each other.

Owner friendly and helpful - brought me a picnic table which was nice as my tent is very small and it's nice to sit up at table! Very laid back and un-bureacratic.

Facilities basic but very clean and all I needed. The ladies' shower was very hot.

Lots of interesting places in the area - Louth is super and has lots of cafes and good food shops. Lots of old churches ideal to visit by bike. I wouldn't recommend Mablethorpe (I only went there by accident!)

I'd definitely go back here.

We spent 2 nights and what a great site, owners were extremely friendly. Facilities were excellent plenty of hot water clean and tidy.

Site was easy to find just the place for a relaxing break. A couple of local villages within 2 to 4 miles so shops and pubs not that far away. Louth about 10 minutes drive, mablethorpe about 20 minutes. Look forward to another visit in the near future.

What a fabulous weekend! West End Farm is one of those quiet, out of the way sites that you really hope no-one else finds out about. The owner's were very friendly and kept the site beautifully mown and the ablutions very clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble and they weren't panicking about you being off site at a particular time - very relaxed atmosphere altogether.
The site itself is secure, with a code on the gate and is surrounded by tree's, it is sectioned off into lovely small area's so you always felt secluded and cosy - a lovely way to camp. We camped with our friends who, like us, had two children and a dog.
The kids play area kept the children happy, aged 5, 8 and 10 and the site was great for the dogs with plenty of public footpaths to walk them on the lead. If you want entertainment and pubs within walking distance then this isn't the site for you, but if you're after a quiet, away from it all place you couldn't find anywhere nicer.
Our only suggestion would be more 'pot-wash sinks', but we still coped perfectly well with the one provided. We will definitely be back.

Our whole family went here thats 4 tents and loads of children and 2 dogs. We had a lovely time despite the 2 days rain, plenty of walks and across the road down the lane is the first time we have seen 2 deer frolicking in a field, owls and plenty of other wild life.
The couple who run this site are lovely made us feel very welcome and the communication prior to going was second to none. Special thanks to the young lad who helped us with the gate.
Showers and toilets clean and well looked after, Will be back

A very nice quite location, def need to go in the car to shops etc,and haven't got a clue where the nearest pub is.But thats what its all about some tin's and a bbq, what more could you ask for.

Plenty of space for pitching up.

Very good for the dogs, plenty of country walks.

The owner while we were there put up a swing for the kids which kept them entertained.

Toilet block inc. Showers were very basic

I would go back again for the weekend, more so for the dog.

Me, my partner and two dogs are seasonal guests on this site and we highly recommend it for long or short stays.

The site is spacious and pitches are a good size. The hookups are more than adequate 16A. Toilets and showers are modern and well kept (and free). The location is very quiet and ideal for walking. There are a number of public footpaths leading off from the site if you like to explore. It makes an ideal base being only 20mins drive away from the sea or Louth town. The owner Chris couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. We are looking forward to our third visit of the year in a few weeks.

Hail, Snow, Blow and Rain didn't spoil our long weekend at West End Farm and we shall certainly return. Chris and his family put themselves out to care for us all. Public facilities were spotless at all times. The site is handy for shopping and touring. There is a lovely area for children to run free and families to picnic in. Can't wait to see the site when the sun is shining as it looked like magic in the snow. We loved the way the area was set out - no over crowding. Most pleasant.
