Lovely site in the country, very well kept, spacious pitches and clean facilities all for a good price what more could you ask for?
Chris the owner is on hand if you need him but not intrusive, he was a big help when I had a problem with the tent poles and came to the rescue much to my relief!
The kids were happy with the swings there and made friends it was enough to keep them entertained. The only slight criticism would be that the sinks were high even for me and the shower area was very small so struggled getting the kids washed.
The site is very near the coastal towns, we preferred Skegness over any of the others, plenty to do there. We had a meal at the Waggon and Horses just a few minutes drive from the site and highly recommend it, good quality food.
All in all I would definitely visit again if I planned to come to this area.

This is an excellent site within easy reach of all the attractions of the coast.
The site is well maintained, toilet and showers always clean, plenty of hot water, toilet paper and hand towels always kept stocked up.
The showers are free as is the hairdryer, which is a lovely, welcome touch. There is plenty of room for games of football etc. And a few swings for children.
We only stayed for 4 nights, we walked along the salt marshes at Saltby, visited the gorgeous sandy beach at Mablethorpe and enjoyed the fun in Skegness.
I want to say a big thank you to the warden who posted my glasses back to me after I left them in the toilets. He was very friendly and always about to ensure the smooth running of the site.
We will definitely visit again.

Just recently returned from West End Farm which was our very first introduction into camping in the big wide world. We'd practised a couple of times in the garden first, but nothing beats doing it for real, the excitement of it all made us feel like 12 yr olds all over again. BTW we are both 48 yrs old.
Anyway, West End Farm, what a place to begin our camping memories, we loved it.
When we arrived we walked up to the reception point where we were quickly made to feel welcome by Chris the owner, who showed us to our enormous pitch and told us what the code was to the gate so we could bring the car in.
We explained that we were camping virgins and would probably ask him lots of really stupid questions, He said if you need a hand you've only got to shout, he even offered to help us with our EHU and putting the tent up. He also explained where we could buy things like milk, bread and newspapers from a nearby village pub strangely enough?
Not much for kids to do here, but they all seemed happy enough to play on the few swings available or kicking the odd football around.
Couldn't tell you about the local pubs cause we didn't visit any. (On this visit anyway).
The new for 2011 toilets/Showers were kept clean at all times, the water was always hot and powerful enough, and even though it was fairly busy whilst we were there, we didn't have to queue once.
There was a washing machine inside the plate wash area, all of which is free for anyone to use.
We visited Sutton-On-Sea and Mablethorpe where we took the dog on long beach walks and there were several walks immediately outside the campsite, where we saw lots of wildlife, such as a deer, the Alpaca's in a nearby field, a hare and some sheep. We also saw a mole which had somehow managed to camp/tunnel under a nearby tent, Chris the owner managed to retrieve it and show many of the other campers as he walked around.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this site to anyone and we will definitely return again.

Really lovely site- well maintained toilet and shower block with lovley warm running showers. Free to use washing machine a lovely touch too although we didn't make use of it ourselves.
Pitches generous and Chris the owner very welcoming and attentive.
Surrounding area lovely- highly recommend the Red Lion In Withern for food and a very warm welcome with children and dogs too! Louth a great market town for a visit and do go to their cheese shop! And nothing beats the perfect sandy beach at Mablethorpe.
Highly recommend this site- quiet well maintained and a good price.

A lovely traditional camping site. Free showers (2) and hair dryer in the ladies, all of which were always clean throughout a busy bank holiday weekend.
The site is clean, tidy and organised.
Chris the site owner is often about which means he ensures all is well on the site and is available with useful info as and when you require it.
Site is nicely divided up with planting and mature trees.
Would definitely recommend this site.
It was a convenient location for Louth, Mablethorpe, Skegness and Lincoln. Enjoyed a lovely cycle along promenade cycle route from Mablethorpe to Huttoft looking at all the lovely beach huts along the way.

My son recommended it and he made a very good choice.
The owner, can be seen most of the time, greeting, cleaning, advising and (when needed) policing the site. He supplies, free of charge, fridge, freezer, hot water, washing machine and probably many other bits and pieces if asked, yet never in your face.
The grounds are well manicured, grass short, areas cordoned off where needed, and the pitches are generally flat.
North East Lincs is renowned for its ancient and pretty villages and there is lots to see and do.
The only adverse comment would be the toilet doors, which are not low enough, during our stay, one door was locked from the inside and the culprit made an exit under the door, leaving only one available for use, parents really should control their children.
The weather wasn't kind, but a good time was had and the site will be visited by me and my family in the future.

Arrived home today after another stay at West End Farm. The weather could have been kinder but we did have a lovely day at Sutton on Sea, which we recommend over other local 'resorts'. The campsite is well maintained, clean and secure, Chris is a friendly but discreet host, always there when you need him but not in your face at all. The showers and loo's have been refurbed since we were last here but my teenage boys wish the doors were just a bit lower! Young children can and do, peek under, if parents let them play unsupervised around the toilet block (tut, tut parents!). Lovely warm showers which were most welcome in all the rain we had. Great value for money too.
I like this site a lot and I look forward to returning.

A truly peaceful and picturesque camp site we cant wait to return to! The grounds are kept beautifully with lovely short grass to pitch on, surrounded by wild growing hedge areas which are teeming with rabbits, butterflies, birds and goodness knows what else!
There is a very pleasant shower/toilet block with 2 toilets and 2 showers for the ladies (I presume the mens is the same plus a urinal) The showers always had piping hot water and there was never a queue in the height of August when we were there, and they are FREE! 2 washbasins, a hair dryer and plenty of mirrors, what more could you need? There is also a small wash room with a sink for pots and a sink for clothes washing, plus a FREE washing machine for your own use. Basic, clean, free. Perfect :)
I believe there is a freezer in the reception shed, free to use, but I never actually ventured over there.
This is a perfect quiet site, the only thing you will hear at night is an occasional pigeon or alpaca. Just off the site, down a little path is a field full of alpacas, much to the delight of our children. They were quite friendly and came up to the fence for a stroke. We found them accidently when out walking our dogs. There are some lovely walks withing a hundred meters of the camp site gate - ideal!
Chris, the owner, is often to be seen wandering the site, and gave us a friendly welcome, even offering an extension for the hook up should we need one.
Our group had: a 6 year old, she loved it, we hardly saw her as she was off playing with new friends. 2 teenagers, nothing much to do for them but our teens like to play tennis and football (with soft balls) so were perfectly content. 4 adults, couldn't get enough of the peace and quiet.
No complaints at all about this site, its simply beautiful.

Beautiful site.
Just had our first weekend on site - 5 people with 2 tents. The Owner Chris was very friendly, and there was nothing he couldn't do to help.
Toilet/Shower facilities were absolutely spotless, yes the pressure can vary if it was a busy point in the day & all 4 showers, plus sinks in use but that's to be expected :).
The site are fine with larger tents & awnings - We have a outwell Hartford L, which is a fair size, plus the other, slightly smaller tent, a couple of windbreaks and 3 cars between the lot of us, Chris took us in no problems, and refreshingly, no extra charge.
Plenty of room between pitches as well, there were a lot of other large tent/encampments but you'd have problems telling as they were so well spaced.
Easy enough to get to Mablethorpe & surrounding country for walks, pub, shops etc.
Already planning to go back again

Peace & quiet is what you need then this is the place. Kids on the site all seemed happy. Great walks in and around the local area lots of little villages to walk to & around. Not too far from the coast which is excellent.
