This was our first visit to Sussex but wont be our last, we found this campsite in the camping & caravan club book and the area sounded rather nice close to beach and local towns. Brighton was fantastic so much to do with the pier and sealife centre and beautiful shops and restaurants.
We arrived at the site it was mainly grass but there was hardstandings dotted about, the grass was cut and there was some hedges you could get some shelter behind if needed,it was clean and tidy.
The electric hookups where nicely laid out and I think the metre idea was great for tents because you could put money on when you needed it you just need to remember to have £1 coins.
The owners were friendly and helpful.

We stay on this site when we come to england from our home in the czech republic.
We have always been made very welcome a nice clean site and lovely owners.
Easy access to local shops, buses and trains to brighton and worthing and it's just a short walk, about five minutes, to the beach and if you like walking fifteen minutes will get you to the southdowns and the southdowns way.

This was our 4th visit to this lovely site. The location is excellent, close to the town (supermarket / pubs / restaurants / takeaways) and walking distance of beach. Short drive to Worthing and Brighton with lots to do whatever the weather. The site itself is very well maintained, the owners extremely friendly and helpful and their 2 little boys great fun for our little girl to play with. There is a trampoline and swings / see-saw for the children and resident chickens and rabbits to admire.Surrounded by green fields and horses. We have been camping for 6 years and have stayed at many sites but this is by far our favourite. We would recommend this site for short breaks and even for a main holiday. There is electric hook up, CDP, portaloo if needed, bbqs and the children's play area.

The Barn campsite is beautifully tucked away and secluded yet close to the town centre and beach. The site is well maintained and the grass gets cut regularly. The metered hookups are a great idea. The barbeques dotted around are ideal too. The owners and their two young lads are the friendliest family you could come across and make staying with them an absolute pleasure. We have been back several times now both in the winter and summer.
Highly recommended if you visit West Sussex.

We have camped here on numerous occasions over the last 3 years. It is a lovely campsite with plenty of space and very peaceful. Our children loved it as there is plenty of space for them to utilise. The beach is within walking distance and so is the town with plenty of shops. You will need your own toilet and wash facilities as they do not at present have any, although I noticed that they had installed a portaloo this time.
It is a great place to stay with horses nearby and plenty of grass area, making it a fantastic campsite for a little bit of relaxation.
We stayed this year for the Shoreham Air show and it was great. They had built barbecues which we used and were very handy. It does get very busy this weekend but still loads of space for the kids to run around, play ball games etc.
All in all we have enjoyed our stays very much.

We went to stay here because my daughter lives close by and it had some good reviews. How delightful it was, the owners are lovely and how very helpful. We were meant to be just staying two days but ended up staying the week! It is close to the beach, so close you can walk. In fact you can find everything you need within walking distance. The grass was lovely for my grandson to play on, as its such a big field there is so much space, your not on top of anyone else. Even better the owners had two lovely little boys so my grandson had someone to play with, we spent more time there than at my daughters playing ball games. There was a giant football net that my grandson was amazed with. We had a great time and will be going back in a few weeks.

The weather was not that good at times, but there was plenty to do around the area with the train or bus only a short walk. It was far easier than trying to park the motorhome in Brighton or Worthing. With loads of attrations there was lots to do inside and out.
The site was in a quiet lane set just off the road, easy acess with my motorhome, nice big gate at the front to get in. Loads of space for everyone, everything was laid out and easy to use. The grass was cut, nice and tidy and people very helpful, letting us know where nearby shops and services were. All for £8 a night, a bargin, thats why it was busy. The location is great for everyone.
Would recomend to others.

What a jem this site is. Secluded and yet so near to Brighton and Worthing. Walking distance to beach and main line station of Lancing with regular trains to London. Pitches huge, well spaced out, level with electricity. Own sanitation essential, does not deter in any way. Owners are; dog, child and motorhome friendly, absolutely first class, one of our favoutite sites which we will definatey visit again. Oh! and Shoreham Annual Airshow last weekend in August, 2 miles max, campsite right on the flight path.

This campsite is in a great lotcation, it's a tidy and well kept site. The grass is nicely cut and there was plenty of space for my children to play. Dogs were also welcomed, it's close to the shops and near to brighton and worthing, it,s easy to get to and there's plenty of public transport nearby. There is lots to do in brighton & worthing, cinemas the pier & shopping centres, there is also a beach within walking distance, i was very pleased with our stay, a great time was had by all. The owners were lovely and welcoming, and on hand if you need anything. I will definatley be going again.

The site is grassy with plenty of flat spaces there are electric hook ups and a cdp. Friendly owners, great location near sea and downs. Close to Brighton and Worthing. Public transport a close walk bus/trains. Local town has pubs cafe shops and many more services. Booking is advised because it seems to be rather busy in the summer months I have visited before and will do so again
