Just Returned from a 6 night break running into the bank holiday 2nd time we have stayed here we had a great time even had some nice weather. Stopped on the meadows mixed tourers and tents plenty of space not far from the main centre people and staff were nice. The main field was kept clean tidy and and grass kept pretty well might be a little bumpy in places for tents a little noisy at times over the busy bank holiday but hey we like to party so not a problem to us a few dodgy families on there think they were travellers had a bit of an incident kids kicking there ball at my van but to be fair once I had yelled at them it stopped somebodies dog never stopped yapping from dusk till dawn And a camper van parked the wrong way across the pitch next to us which spoil ed the view a little.OK Rant over. We had a good holiday here and will return again an all round good family site entertainment was brill shop well stocked chippy good beer OK What more could ye want.A warm shower would be nice they were freezing.

Firstly we are a family with two children aged 6 and 3 and a small dog. We spent five nights here over the August bank Holiday weekend. The touring part of the site had a lot of litter , the grass was uncut and the caravan pitches had large tyre rivets everywhere and the roads leading to them where just as bad. The toilets and shower facilities are Porto cabins and were below expected standards. The chemical disposal was a metal square box with a loo in the middle with a broken tap . On arrival at the site we were simply told to find a pitch, which led to the inevitable people taking more than one pitch and over bookings occurring due to lack of space. The swimming pool had cloudy water as mentioned by previous reviewer, and the slide was only open two days out of the five we were there. The plus point of the site was the excellent children's entertainment in the evenings.

This is not my ideal type of campsite, very commercialised, we were put in an overflow field and had to walk into another field to use the portalo toilets. It was quite a walk to the facilities the site had to offer. The indoor swimming pool was very very old, I attempted to go for an 'early morning' swim (9am) to be met with a Sergent major type of guy who after I shown him my pass informed me I would not be allowed into the pool for at least an hour as it was 'owners only hour' The shop was very well stocked and reasonably priced. By the evening the field had become very busy, there seemed to be a 'group' of campers in the middle who can arrived together and all they wanted to do was party, right up till 4am they played very loud music, the kids were running around screaming, car engines were being revved, at one point they purposely set of their car alarms to see which one was the loudest!

Very large, very commercial site. There are good facilities on the site but terrible tent pitches. We have a family sized tent and a motor home was so close to us that we could not open out the porch on the front of our tent. There is lots for children to do on the site and it is ideal for families who don't mind noisy, cramped commercial sites. There is also an excellent fish and chip shop opposite the entrance.

Visited this site a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the site. The shop was well stocked with all the essentials and lots of extras as well, there was plenty of food outlets, including a chippy, although it was a little pricey. The camping facilities were excellent, the showers and toilets very close and immaculate. There was plenty of entertainment in the evening as well as kids club during the day, handy if it is rainy as usual. The playground was of a high standard well maintained and very safe as well as all weather football areas, excellent for the kids. The indoor pool was a nice feature and not very busy, ideal for families. All in all a great all round site for families and we will be returning lots in the future. Very close to Rhyl centre which has had an overhaul recently with a great kids play area and an outdoor pool-Excellent for the kids!

We spent a half- term week here. The facilities were fab and the staff were lovely with the exception of the reception staff who really could have done with some customer service training. My only complaint was that we were right next to a main road and with the site being just outside Rhyl it was stupidly busy at night. That said, we really enjoyed our week and are going back again this year.

There are 2 fields to book on this park - the Warren and the meadows. If you are bothered about the facilities, then the Warren is the best as it had brick built toilets and showers , whereas the meadows have portaloo style cabins. The entertainment is very good but at peak periods, it is best to get a seat early. The drinks etc are a bit pricey as is the shop but it is pretty well stocked. We had a problem of people climbing over from a neighbouring site right next to our pitch so in the end, we reported it. To security. The pitches were well spaced and if it is a commercial type of park you are looking for, then I've stayed at worse, but it does need some areas looking at such as the meadows facilities and the price (33.00 a night high season!)

One of our first forays into caravanning led us to this site. It was cheap, however, that was the only thing it had going for it. The site wasn't the cleanest in the world, we found facilities to be rather dirty. Settling in for our first night we found ourselves lying awake listening to the "merry" campers returning from the on site club. The noise went on sporadically through the night with the caravanners opposite playing music loudly in their awning through the night. Cars zoomed around the site and I didn't feel comfortable with my daughter making her own way to the play area. It was cheap, not especially cheerfuly.

I am sure that some people would disagree but I didn't feel safe at all - there were definitely some dodgy characters around. Now to the site, we paid £60 for 2 nights expecting a really good entertainment complex and got nothing of the sort. Spot the reception - we certainly couldn't find it! After 10 minutes of wandering around the amusement arcade we noticed a sign on the door of a bar. Got our pack and got directed to the camping field - I thought we had gone on the wrong one! It's basically a bumpy field with a makeshift road. Pitched next to some bushes hoping that would protect us from the wind (no chance but you can't help the weather). It's a good walk from the camping field to the portakabins accurately described by other reviewers, dirty, wet, no paper, 45 second shower timer, broken door locks and no lighting in some! The walk to and from the toilets is quite entertaining, people in the tents swearing and screaming at one another! Went to the Sands entertainment bar - dirty, threadbare carpets, dirty toilets, no paper, soap & broken dryer! 10 min wait at bar for about 7 people! Entertainment was far too noisy - it hurt your ears & I was sat at the back! The entertainment staff were enthusiastic but they had to keep asking for applause (that says it all). My husband & daughters went swimming the following day and described the pool as dirty - the water was cloudy and the showers were rubbish. The surrounding area is rundown and quite depressing, it all looks quite old. Drove to Llandudno about 15 mins away and would recommend there, nice beaches, shops, cafes etc.

Definitely not the best place we have stayed. We stayed in the camping field. We were in a big group, which helped make the night pass more enjoyably.
We went to the on-site fish and chip shop for something to eat. There was only one person working behind the counter, and he was only able to one thing at a time, ie. We ordered fishcakes and chicken nuggets for the kids. He put them in the fryer, and stood there waiting until they were cooked, and didnt make any attempt to serve anybody else. As you can imagine, it took a long time to serve the 12 people we were with.
The swimming pool was OK, but the changing facilities were not up to much (especially the "shower", which was more like a dribble of water passing through a drinking straw).
The toilet block left a lot to be desired. As stated in an earlier review, it was just a lot of portacabins. Every other one had a shower in it. You had to squeeze past the toilet and ladies sanitary bins to get into the shower, and then you had nowhere to get changed/dry.
