June 2005 This was the location of my very first camping holiday and now I'm hooked! A beautiful location, friendly staff and cheap prices. A new toilet and shower block has replaced the formerly basic facilities. Plenty of hot water, clean, and best of all free! Highly recommended and we will be going again next year.

June 2005 As a first time camper myself and my family decided to visit Trevayne after reading the excellent reviews on this web site. I dont think I could add anymore than what has been said. Stayed in the Tenby field plenty of space, very clean and new toilet and shower block close by and very safe for the kids. Myself my wife and the kids had an excellent time 5 mins walk to the local beach or 5 mins car drive into Saundersfoot. I would recommend this site highly to anybody looking to take up camping, will definitely return.

June 2004 Absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this site highly. We took our tent and were pitched in a field with a central meadow area for the children to play in and panoramic views of the sea. The site has it's own beach which is quite a step down the cliff side but well worth the effort. The showers and loos in our field were basic but did the job. They were always clean and there are enough of them so when you 'gotta go', you can! We were inspired to buy our own kite and had great fun trying to hang on to it. Prices are excellent too.

August 2004 I’ve just enjoyed two weeks on this site. Normally we only stop 3 or 4 days but ended up stopping here for 14 days (unheard of for us!).
Yes the facilities in the camping field are basic, the toilet floors are concrete and there is no hot water at the basins but they are cleaned every morning. The showers again are fine if a little basic.
Location is great, Monkstone beach is 5 minutes walk and possibly one of the quietest and nicest beaches along this coast. Saundersfoot is 1 mile away and Tenby maybe 2 along the coast path.
It did get busy during the bank holiday weekend but so does everywhere and the ground was getting a bit chewed up thanks to the poor weather. If you are tenting, try going all the way to the bottom of the Tenby field, it is quieter and more protected from the elements.
If you have children try the pub in New Hedges for an evening meal and childrens disco/entertainment upstairs afterwards. Good steak meals.
If you don’t like it too brash this is the one for you.

August 2004 This is a campsite with lovely views over the sea, but with BASIC facilities (toilets / showers only) and very cheap (£9 a night for a family of four). It can be a bit windy as it's on the cliff top but it's great being able to walk to the sea (but steep, steep steps). It's very safe for kids and the owners are very friendly. We would definitely consider going there again.

July 2004 This was my 3rd visit to this site, though the shower and toilet block on Tenby feild was basic the site was splendid with nice views over Carmathen Bay and so I was told this was the cheapest site in the area.

July 2003 Can only echo what others have said - a great place. We had mostly poor weather and the tent area is a little exposed to the sea, so it was somewhat windy. Best to come when the weather is more suitable!
Nice beaches nearby, great views, plus not far to Tenby which is one of my favourite places ever. Facilities are basic but perfectly adequate, showers were free, and the site owner was very nice.
Overall our favourite place from last year. Highly recommended.

August every year (Before i start i am 10 yrs old) Trevayne is cool. The beach is great and children like me can just play anywhere because its a safe site. Me and about 50 others who I know go every year and we have all been coming for ages! We all love it here.

August 2003 There are many campsites around the Tenby, Saundersfoot area, but of them all I think Trevayne has the best location and has direct access to the coastal path and beaches, the closest being Monkstone beach. The views from the site are beautiful and both Tenby and Saundersfoot are within walking distance if you are reasonably fit, the road to Tenby is a much gentler walk than the coastal path, the coastal path has lovely views but be prepared to take your legs through the pain barrier, it is very very up and down.
The site itself is basic but has everything you need, showers, hot water etc, but be warned, they only replace the toilet paper each morning and when it's gone, it's gone, so take your own!! We enjoyed our stay at Trevayne and actually extended it for an extra 2 nights and we would definately return to this site.

July 2003 Forgot to mention - touring field has a rather steep slope so take plenty of blocks etc to get level!!!
