I have been camping to Glan-Y-Mor a few times last year and enjoyed every visit. For me and my 4 year old it is unbeatable. The dunes are an adventure playground and when the tide is in I could probably throw a stone from in my tent and it would hit the sea. The beach is amazing and so beautiful at dawn or sunset. We watched rabbits jumping in between the tents and chased dragon flies. We now have a campervan and looking forward to our Easter getaway. Oh and the manager even remembered my name when I booked (is that a bad thing or a good thing?). Facilities are good and clean. All in all I don't think you could find a better site. Happy people and nature in abundance

Well what can I say _ it's a little gem of a site. Simple, no club or shop but close enough to a chippy and a large spar shop with Aldi and Tesco in the main town.
Only 20 yards over the dunes to black rock sands. The best position of any site I, 've been on. Close enough to nip back to the tent to make a bacon butty for lunch and still hot to eat on the beach.
Wardens Steve and Becky can't do enough for you. Even offered to help take down the tent in the wind and rain with us. They keep the grass cut nice and short and ensure there is plenty of space between the tents.
The showers always have plenty of hot water and both showers and toilets kept spotlessley clean and tidy.
If there is maybe one issue it's that when busy they could do with a couple of extra toilets as only 3 for the ladies and 2 for the men.
Well done Steve and Becky. We will be back next year.

We stayed with Glan Y Mor on the 13th and 14th June 2015. The site is in a fantastic location, literally 20m over the dunes to the beach. The hook up was great, lots of space and the showers and toilets, spotless.
What really sets this site apart where Becky and Steve who manage the site. They were fantastic. We had a serious battery issue which Steve diagnosed for me and recommended where I should get it get fixed. They couldn't do enough to help.
Definitely recommend this site and if you have children they will absolutely love the dunes and the space to play.

Another great stay at Glan y mor ! As always a friendly welcome awaited us on arrival. Pitched up next to friends. Toilets and showers spotless as usual. Can not fault this campsite a lovely atmosphere as usual even with the unpredictable weather, everyone's so friendly and welcoming nothing is too much trouble Steve and Becki are a credit to this site and are such nice people. We are definitely rebooking for our next short break and we can't wait !

We Stayed here for a couple of nights over the bank holiday weekend, the site was fairly quiet for a bank holiday which was nice compared to other sites we saw whilst in and around the area!
The facilities where good and clean, the shower block was fairly basic and small but again it was clean.
The beach is literally a stones throw away from the site, its slightly shocking at first to head over the dunes and see hundreds of cars parked on it but that's black rock sands for you, in the evening its very nice, great for the dogs as they can run free along the beach to the left of the road.
The site allows dogs to stay free of charge subject to a £5 deposit providing they behave themselves and stay on a lead, which is nice however I do think this rule needs to be enforced a little better as we did see some dog mess right by the toilets and a few dogs on occasion not on leads. A rule is a rule!
The staff where lovely and very welcoming however when I enquired about local walks in the area, they did seem a little clueless, a quick walk out of the park and down the road towards the sister campsite and we found the wales coastal path, which took us all the way into Criccieth with some gorgeous views along the way, its about a 2. 5 mile walk from the camp site. When I asked about dog friendly places to visit, we where recommended amongst other things to go to Portmeirion, a quick check of the leaflet they gave me told us they don't allow dogs there. !
But other than that, a brilliant site with friendly staff, we will be coming back as the location is near perfect!

Fabulous site, perfect location for the beach. This camp site is one of the most friendliest we have stayed in, nothing was too much trouble for the managers. On arrival we were informed of the high winds and were given the option to stay or not, not many sites would be so forthcoming. This was our first camping trip, we enjoyed it that much booked up there and then for the end of May. The facilities were spotless, this is a site you won't be disappointed at. Roll on our next holiday!

What a gem! Camped here for the first time May Day weekend and so glad we did. The weather was very windy on arrival was given the option whether to stay or not due to gale winds due ( we thought that was brilliant) decided to risk it with our friends. The manager is so friendly and very welcoming, she even lent us an electric hook up as we didn't have one. We found the on site toilets and showers very clean and modern. The site is perfect for watersports and they didn't mind our jet skis being on there and its perfect with the sand dunes surrounding it. In fact it's so good we have rebooked for whit week and are soooooo looking forward to it. Keep up the good work because it's a little gem!

Located just behind the sand dunes, you are literally a stones throw from the beach. Perfect for relaxing, you can hear the peaceful waves on the shore and the beautiful sunsets can be breath-taking. Alternately, if you are looking to use up some energy, you are perfectly located to enjoy miles & miles of beach & open space. The facilities are simple but well maintained and the Management Team are welcoming & friendly. The site is very family friendly and also welcomes dogs (on leads). A perfect base for exploring North Wales, you are only a short drive from the most stunning locations including Mount Snowdon, Llanberis Lake Railway, Betws y coed, Caernrfon & the beautiful peninsula. Benefitting not just from its beach location but also its close proximity to local amenities e. G. Café/bar only 5 mins stroll away, Spar & Take Away, just a few mins drive, it is also just 5 mins drive from the lovely harbour town of Porthmadog. Here there is everything from trains (Ffestiniog & WHHR Railways)a lovely High Street full of every kind of shop, big & small (inc Tesco)and tucked away but very handy are Lidl & Aldi. Glan y Mor Camping Park has everything my family & I look for in a holiday. We have visited this site on numerous occasions and look forward to returning again soon. Highly recommended.
