First time away in our little van and found an absolute gem of a site.
John and Christine the owners were lovely, kind and helpful and were always around if you needed them for anything and keep their little site spotless including the showers and toilets.
There is a little bar serving drinks which was very handy and a gorgeous sitting area and breakfast room in the reception.
The regulars on the site were really friendly and everyone stopped to have a chat with us,
I think we will be returning here for many more years to come, loved it.

John and Christine were lovely hosts, very friendly fellow campers which we got to know in the on-site bar,
Facilities were very clean,
Well maintained grounds and great location as a base for exploring the beautiful market towns of Northallerton and Thirsk, a trip to Sutton Bank to visit the Yorkshire Gliding Club is well worth a visit.

We went to the camp site for one night and it was amazing
The staff were so polite and helped us out with any inquires we needed, they were lovely
The pitch was good and clean
We really enjoyed our stay
Will definitely be coming back
Only disadvantage was about the toilets and shower blocks being closed but not the owners fault
Highly recommended for anyone that wants a peaceful time away

Fantastic week at swan house. John and Christine are the most helpful and friendly site owners we've ever encountered nothing was to much trouble.
Shower block is quite new and very clean. Bar and pool table, entertainment on Saturday night is fantastic. Lots of local picturesque villages to travel to.
Will definitely be coming again.

We have been coming to this gem of a site for a few years now, yes even in the winter,
Lovely warm pub with music, karaoke, pool, sky tv selection of toys for the smaller kids to play with,
Nothing is too much bother for the brilliant hosts John & Christine,
Good selection of bar meals on offer,
Toilets & showers extremely clean plenty of hot water. As I said gem of a site.
Easy access from A19 honestly we don't hear any noise.
