This was our first time away in our caravan and couldn't be more happier with this chosen site. The site is very clean with excellent toilet and shower facilities. The playground was small but the kids loved it. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The bar is very modern with a cosy fire, comfortable sofas, pool table and not forgetting the wonderful disco light. There were plenty of toys in the bar for the kids to play with whilst we could sit back and relax. There are plenty of places to go to around this site and we would definitely be going back in the summer.

Just got back from a 2 nights stay at swan house. This is a fairly new site and the showers have just been built.
There is a pub for people staying on site with a pool table and a small park for the kids.
I have to say that it was brilliant. Everything is spot on and the owners are really welcoming.
We will be returning very soon. All the family loved it. Well kept and very clean site
We visited light water valley and also the local villages to explore.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the local area

This is a follow up to my last review. We visited again over the Easter period 2012. The site has improved by having more signage and the bar has been extended by having a function room added, built but wasn't quite finished when we visited but wasn't far off, and that will I think will probably accommodate up to 60 people. This will be ideal for any one wanting to use a function room and family gatherings etc using the B and B plus the caravan/camping field.
John and Christine give a warm welcome to all and are excellent hosts. If you are looking for a site that is welcoming, child friendly, clean and tidy, with a bar I have no hesitation in recommending this to you.

We visited this site on for a few days over a wet Bank Holiday. The site is just off the busy A19 dual carriageway and very easy to find.
Access is through large ironwork gates onto a large tarmac area which is the route to the caravan park and also a car park for the site owner’s bed and breakfast business.
The site is securely locked overnight. There are 12 hardstandings with some caravans sited seasonally. The hardstandings all have electric and there are several water points. The caravan/tent field is flat and there are no problems in pegging out for awnings etc.
There is a new toilet block area with facilities for gent’s ladies and disabled. The toilet facilities are 2 WC’s and a large shower area in each of the facilities. The showers provided plenty of hot water.
The toilet block is illuminated by PIR's at night. At the rear of the toilet block there are two sinks for washing up. There is a children's play area, a trampoline and slide.
There is a large comfortable lounge bar to have a drink and socialise with the owners and other campers.
The location is very handy for nearby towns of Northallerton Stockton and Stokesley and the views of the Hambleton hills from the site are stunning.
There is a well-stocked farmer’s market shop in East Rounton, approximately 5 minutes drive from the site. This is an excellent site for touring the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. It is a new site which I'm sure that the owners will seek to add to.
Despite the very wet weather all the facilities were kept spotless which is a tribute to the owners.
The owners are extremely hospitable very welcoming and helpful.
