Excellent site. Very impressed.
Good to have clean toilets and hot water.
Quiet location, in the middle of nowhere.
Excellent pub.
It was not the site's fault that our tent was flattened by the strong wind!

Site was peaceful. Grass was a bit long but we didn't mind.
Shower block was not good. Shower smelt stale on first use and didn't give impression of being very clean underfoot. No soap in ladies and despite request for some, none appeared during our stay. More in gents. General feel of being a bit neglected and needing more careful cleaning and restocking.
Pub made up for the showers! Good food, home cooked, and cheerful bar staff. Also good beer.

The first night stay was nice but Saturday night there was loud music playing from the pub until after 1am, and was very loud so could not sleep
Showers could off done with a clean, was a lot off bugs on window slills and black mould,
Didn't see site owner on our stay.

Booked for 4 nights, left after 1! Arrived at the site & we were shocked at the state of the field, rutted & long grass. A chap on a hard standing pitch advised us he was leaving & we could have his pitch.
We contemplated leaving but thought we’d give the site a chance, big mistake! The landlady of the pub appeared but did not give us any information or take any payment.
The ladies toilets had no available loo paper or soap at all during our stay, the cistern was so dirty you could write your name in it. One of the shower cubicles had old soap & a dirty towel in it. The whole area was grim.
The following day day we went into the pub for lunch & to pay for 2 nights. The landlady told us no food was being served despite a board outside advertising “good food”. When challenged about the lack of communication she said “ I didn’t know you would want food”. At that point we offered to pay but her machine wasn’t charged to take a card payment. We paid cash & left the site.
This site is £ 24 a night & is the worst site we have stayed on.

A site with massive potential with the added benefit of a great pub with a charismatic landlady and well placed for Upton and all that the town has to offer.
The field is rutted and you have to be careful in any vehicle other than a 4x4,
The toilets were cleaned only once during our stay and you share the facilities with various insects, we actually took a can of fly spray in the mornings to get rid of the unwanted guests.
A little more attention to detail would make this a great place to stay with the field being levelled and the good toilet facilities maintained daily.
Freeview and mobile signal good EHU must be 16amp as we had no problems whilst on site.

Lovely country pub home cooked food Pies a speciality of the house Sunday lunch is excellent value, local produce and local ales available charming pub part timbered very nice beer garden to the rear, staff very friendly and helpful.
A walk into Upton upon Severn over the fields where there is even more lovely pubs to visit. The pub field has the remains of ridge and furrow ploughing so pitch up with care there are EHU's but I did not get one as they were all taken
The toilet/showers were clean and well supplied but I recommend flipflops as the showers mats are painful underfoot.
This is in the heart of a working agricultural County, at times the harvesting machinery going by was noisy but at the same time interesting to watch so you might want to be as far as possible from the road.
I will be a customer again I love this gem of a site the landlady Liz is a true character and always available even when cooking all the fabulous food
