Sited behind a lovely pub just outside Upton.

Large flat field to side of pub. EHU boxes situated around periphery plenty of space between units.

Facilities a little dated but more than adequate and very clean with plenty of hot water. Sanitiser and sanitising spray provided.

Drinking water at shower block. Toilet emptying point with non potabole water on the fence near the wash block.

Sign in and pay at the pub. The pub closes some afternoons so check which pitch you are on if booking in advance and arriving during pub closing hours. There is a plan of the pitch layout on a noticeboard adjacent to the pub car park.

Lovely pub with great food. Once again all Covid 19 regulations were being followed to the letter.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Will return.

Great friendly campsite and pub with home cooked food.

Walking distance into the lovely Upton.

Beautiful views.

Would recommend.

Only let own slightly by lack of toilet roll at times in toilet block.

Great camp site, our second visit.

Clean, well supplied amenities with hand sanitiser everywhere, excellent hygiene in the current situation.

Lovely pub with home cooked food run by friendly and efficient Liz.

We plan to return again in the next couple of weeks.

Lovely site, lots of space, it is by a road and part of the pub, but there was no disturbance/noise.

Facilities were good, plenty of hot water and space in the showers, though did not seem to be cleaned daily.

Walking distance to Upton and ideal for access to the Welland Steam Fair and the Malvern hills

Cwtch Cabins And Camping - Ledbury

With easy access to the Wye Valley, or the Malverns, this is a fantastic spot for a back-to-nature camping escape, with all electricity generated on site. Non-electric grass pitches with fire pits for your tent or campervan, or enjoy the home comforts of various quirky wooden cabins and thoughtfully renovated shepherd's huts. Despite its offgrid feel, guests can access brand-new toilets and hot showers.

With thoughtful touches around the camping field, including planting, beautiful wild grasses, and flourishing vegetable beds, the site sits between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent, providing a pick of independent shops and amenities. Pubs and cider makers are located a stroll away, and dogs are welcome. Look forward to a warm welcome from hosts Ruth, James, and their cheery canines Chaucer and Luther! Find out more here

Very nice site. Lovely welcome from Liz the owner. Good pub, with a nice atmosphere.

Easy walk into Upton on Severn, not much difference between walking the main road and cutting through the fields. Everyone on site seemed friendly.

Will definitely visit again.

An excellent site at bag of a lovely pub with great manager with great staff. Toilets and showers lovely and clean.

Only issue were some inconsiderate dog owners but it's understandable they can't be monitored all the time. Definitely go again soon.

Fees are good, £10 and £15 with hook up. Full marks.

We have just stayed at the Drum & Monkey for a few nights after reading their good reviews. Sorry to say we were not very impressed with site. Very uneven ground.

Grass had just been cut so the grass was every where, all through awning and in van. As for the toilet block, please take flip flops if you intend to use the showers, as hard plastic: what ever it was hurts the bottom of your feet.

Chemical waste area was very poor, it was in the hedge row, as was one of the drinking water taps. Nobody controlled their dogs either, all let loose to do what ever.

I stayed at this site over the bank holiday weekend.

Our little group of campers could corral nicely, without being ordered to be on specific pitches (ala caravan club stalag). Those of our group that needed hookup, got it. We were near to the 'new' toilet/shower block. I was paying £10/night for my tent, with free use of showers and wash-up area.

The camping area is at the rear of the pub, with easy access for me and my Outwell Fusion 300, up to Big Marks' american mansion on wheels and Guzzis' Airstream caravan.

The pub and site is run by one lady, so she isn't always there to give you warm welcome. However, the pub has great ales and cyder. They also do fantastic meals. Can't wait to go there again.

This site is a great one to stay at, Liz and her staff plus the locals gave all of us a very warm welcome on each visit to the pub. We were a group of three couples all in touring vans and we had a weeks stay.

The site was not crowded and we had a pleasant time exploring the area. We did see couples with children who also seemed to be enjoying the site.

The food served at the pub was great so good in fact we invited more friends to join us one evening for a meal, they are now spreading the word in their area.

Upton on Severn is interesting with more quaint establishments and nice walks along the river, so something for everyone's taste, we would certainly go back.
